I love this place for lunch. They always have fresh soups and salads that are delicious. Lots of options that are labeled for different dietary preferences. Food is served and picked up cafeteria style. The atmosphere is sweet, open and friendly.

I love the esthetic! It’s very bright and eclectic! However TBH…the food is very overpriced and underwhelming! Not much flavor at all! The staff is cool though!

Souper Jenny is a hidden gem café in Decatur that deserves all the love it gets.

From the butterfly wall to the old books and bright décor, this place radiates positivity and peace.
You can tell the staff care, every dish feels handmade and intentional.

We tried the chicken noodle salad and the couscous with roasted veggies, both so fresh and balanced, it’s clear they use top-quality ingredients.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that feeds both your body and your soul, but Souper Jenny does just that.
Plus, they give back through The Zadie Project, which helps provide meals for Atlanta families in need.

If you’re on the hunt for a local Atlanta restaurant with heart, this is it.
Perfect for lunch dates, cozy meetups, or when you just need a bowl of something good.

I love - more than anything else in the world - places like this that source local goods, showcase community-made food, and donate to those in need.

Plus, the person at the counter was so nice when I had asked about the available dessert selections, where she walked me through the treats on display. I also liked seeing the sense of quiet community inside - it immediately appeared a comforting spot to grab a nourishing meal. Notably, it’s enormous inside, comfortably so. Would love to return!

Souper Jenny ATL is an absolute gem! The soups are always fresh, flavorful, and comforting — you can really taste the love and creativity in every bowl. Their menu rotates daily, which keeps things exciting, and there’s always a healthy variety of options to choose from (even for picky eaters or those with dietary needs).
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel like part of the community. It’s not just a place to grab a quick bite — it’s a spot that makes you feel good inside and out.

I had the best experience today with my mom. The customer service was incredible, and the staff was accommodating. I love the vibe! When my family visits from Pittsburgh, I will definitely bring them to enjoy! Sometimes simplicity is the best and Jenny you have the recipe! Good Job Team!!!!!!!

One of the few places to eat that I spend my time and Money at. The staff is always courteous and the food amazing. Everything is fresh and there is a great variety. The seating and layout are fun and inviting. So glad they are in Decatur!!

Food is good but very overpriced
3 stars mostly because if you show up at 3 (despite them closing at 4) you essentially can’t get food. They package everything up and tell you to grab what’s in the coolers and won’t even heat things up.

I typically expect kitchens to close early at full service restaurants but not at a functionally grab and go restaurant. 4pm seems to be when the staff leave not when the restaurant closes.

My co-workers had been telling me about their delicious soups, so I decided to try out this eatery. I ordered the Turkey Chili and it was absolutely the best chili I've had since my mama's. The apple cashew kale salad was very tasty but hands down the chili was the star of my meal. I will likely try other menu items but I'm sold on the chili alone. Nice place to enjoy a meal. Service was pleasant as well.

What a lovely shop with such kind staff :,) I loved the interior decorations and the vendor booth section. the ‘my dad’s turkey chili’ was so tasty. I also grabbed a quart to go, on sale for $10! I’ll be back to try more for sure
