This was my first ever visit to “Taco Mac,” which is Atlanta ‘s hometown chicken wing and beer pub restaurant that reminded me of another local chain that I’ve been to on previous FWA con-cations that served similar food called “Wild Wings Cafe”. My local friend and fellow Furry brother “Toad” wanted me to check out “Taco Mac” on Wednesday May 10th, the night before we headed out to Downtown Atlanta to attend our favorite furry convention “Furry Weekend Atlanta”...
I honestly had the best Mac n cheese I've ever had here. It's got a little spice to it and the chicken is great. If you want to save some money, order off the kids menu and it comes with a good size meal - I got 2 chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and a moon pie. I went when it first opened and the service was not great but they were teaching staff so it makes sense and they'll get the swing of things.
I got the Cleirmont burger without bacon. To start the sweet potato fries were amazing and they gave a good sized portion. The burger tasted great, the meat was warm and tasty, condiments tasted good. I wish they made the egg sunny side up like all the other taco Mac’s do. If they did it would’ve been 5 stars. Still a great spot to eat for a quick bite!
