Waffle House in Decatur

“I was here because so many of the local waffle houses have started pick up food at the window. This was a old-fashioned waffle House where you sat down and your food and enjoyed your breakfast. It was 5:00 a.m. and I was just getting off Uber. I wanted to have some breakfast before going home. I was very happy to find this place. I intend to boycott any waffle House that doesn't allow you to come in 24 hours a day 7 days a week. That's the waffle House I know.“

“We had an outstanding visit to the Waffle House Museum. We were lucky enough to be in Atlanta on one of the 4 days a year when the museum was having an open house. Original restaurant is restored and next door is small museum featuring the history of the iconic institution. Great for pictures. Visitors were clearly enjoying themselves, reliving their experiences at the restaurant. Staff were super friendly and were clearly proud of their history. Highly recommend this if you get a chance.“

“About a month ago I had the worst interaction here with a waitress who quite literally rolled her eyes and stormed away from me and my friend when we said we wanted to dine in. Yesterday my husband wanted to eat here so i decided to give it another chance.

Our service was a nice young man who was definitely new, but his customer service was superb. He was very friendly, made sure to get our order right, and was very attentive. The texas bacon chicken melt i had was probably the best i've had at any of the waffle houses i've been to so i was very happy. Overall, seeing the changes that have been made since my first review, I will start coming here again.“

“The service tonight was top notch. The young woman behind the counter made sure to reiterate the orders back to the customers, handle multiple customers at once and adress any concerns, such as dietary restrictions. The cool was quick and receptive to changes in order. You had a great team working tonight 11/18“

“My family and I ordered breakfast and ran errands Saturday morning. When we returned home, we realized our order was incomplete. We promptly returned to the Waffle House on Wesley Chapel Road and explained the situation. We were immediately assisted, and our order was quickly corrected. Great service!!!!“

“We came in for crazy drama , and we found great service . They was saying Gm to evvvveryone that walked in . I mean everybody . Then the food was good, And they checked on us all day . “I love waffle house and have been coming here most of my life but today I had the best WaHo experience. My 4 year old daughter bumped her head walking into the restaurant. Ms Dede was incredible. She helped calm her down and gave her a christmas hat.

She also got the little details about dining with a little one. The chocolate milk came in a cup with a lid, the straw was cut short so it wouldn't tip.

“We always love this WaHo when we come to visit our kiddo :-)The service is great (whereas almost nothing else in the area has such), the food is standard WaHo (which we like; we know what we're getting and it's right every time), and it's a great friendly neighborly environment.The only challenge is the jukebox, which gets in the way of conversation if someone decides to enjoy it ... but that's sometimes fun, too. But if they turned down the volume a bit we'd see the 5th star for Atmosphere.And a shout out to Neil for his awesome service on today's visit! :-) It's really nice to feel like we matter rather than just bring a ticket number.

Parking: More spaces than seats, even! No problems there :-)“
