Waiting an hour and counting for food to come out. Even though upon entering, we asked if it'll take long, they said no, the food will come right out. It's the worst
Edit: food finally came out. I had ordered a overpriced bowl of soup, it had no flavor. It just tasted like hot water.

I used to go here for soup and it was so good. This time I tried the BBQ and I was very Very disappointed. We want to cook by ourselves but the waiter just wants to take it over. Its okay if he does good job. Instead He burned the steak 🥩 by cooked under high flame even though we tried to tell him lower the air flow. He rather turn the air flow high to burn the meat by cooking it fast than let us take over. Not even want to take us side dish or beer till later. Is this place sold to another owner or what???? Honest everyone, go to other KBBQ place because bBQ place at other restaurants are way better and less pricey. We could pay $180 at other place and enjoyed the experience of BBQ than here. No wonder why the BBQ here is so empty. Now we know why.

this is MICHELIN star WORTHY!!! the best Korean and most authentic, delicious experience in the city. Unlike other places where the meat feels processed and marinated in heavy salt, their marinades for the bbq are authentic, real, and taste genuinely like the food back in Korea. Truly the best experience and the service Is ALWAYS exceptional with the hostesses preparing the meats and cooking as you talk with friends. We will always keep coming back here. !!!!!

We came in for Korean BBQ today and were not disappointed! The charcoal grill and good quality meats really stood out to us. We were also pleasantly surprised by the friendly conversation that came from the server who cooked all of our meats for us. Although 50 per person was on the higher end that I’m used to paying for Korean BBQ I can say that I left completely satisfied and would definitely return.
We tried the army stew at Han Il Kwan, and it was honestly one of the best in town. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and exactly what you’d hope for from a comforting Korean dish. The portion size was very generous, easily enough to satisfy three to four people, making it a great choice for sharing with family or friends.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. While the interior of the restaurant feels a bit old-fashioned, it is well maintained and very clean, which shows they care about keeping the space inviting. The traditional vibe also gives it a bit of character and makes you feel like you’re stepping into a true Korean dining spot.
Overall, Han Il Kwan delivered a wonderful dining experience. Between the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the attentive service, it’s a place I would happily recommend and one I’ll definitely return to again.
