I've heard good things about this restaurant in the past, pre-Covid. So when I went this evening. anticipated a good meal. Judging from the number of Korean people eating there, perhaps we got Americanized food, but it was bland to the point of tasteless. The wine ordered was vinegarish. and the Banchan, which I usually enjoy was tasteless and virtually colorless, as well as skimpy. And almost to add insult to injury, the waitress was so frenetic that it carried over to all of us that were eating. And I normally don't comment on wait staff.

I was charged $22 including tax for a bi bim bap to-go. So that's $20 before anything. I checked later and it's $17.5 on the menu. That's dishonest. Plus it was missing the beef when it was advertised as having beef. It could have been a miscommunication and they thought I ordered the mixed vegetable one but that's $11.5 on the menu. Even worse. *Correction. There was beef but so little I didn't notice.

Average KBBQ restaurant off of Buford Hwy in Doraville. We ordered the combo for two and it was at best okay, nothing special about it - too sweet, too chewy, and low quality. The server did a decent job and was helpful, but was grilling the meat way too fast, so eventually I told him I'll grill the rest. The side dishes didn't look fresh, but the cucumber kimchi tasted the best and there was no need to ask for any refills at all even though we were hungry. When we left, a lot of meat we didn't grill and half the side dishes...

If you don’t wanna take customers after 9:00p.m please let us know instead of accepting us and treating us like garbage. We came an hour before closing time because we were stuck in ATL traffic. We were decided if we should leave but we saw they accepted a couple who just walked in 30 secs before us. The lady waitress didn’t even say hi and just slammed the menu to the table , it hit the spoon and the spoon flipped . She didn’t even care to look at us. She slammed our food down, so the soup splashed out of the bowl. I guess she tried to tell us that you better leave soon. There was still a Korean couple at another table, and she talked very nicely to them. I really couldn’t swallow my food so we took them togo and left as soon as possible. I worked with Korean people many years so I knew her attitude and some of Korean. Please just deny customers if they came an hour before closing time, or tell them to get togo instead. I never leave a google reviews but it hurts my feelings because we came here for years and it was our favorite restaurant. We missed our old waitress who was always tired running around but always treated us nicely. The food here are more expensive than other places, so I hope you trained your staffs better. I saw many reviews about bad services months ago but they were not improved at all.

I took it out. I was embarrassed when I went to pick it up because the employee took my phone order incorrectly, but what made me even more embarrassed was the employee who was frowning. Regardless of the taste, I went out of my way to find a Korean restaurant, but was taken aback by the sight of Jeokbanjangjang. Don't expect service.

A popular KBBQ restaurant off of Buford Hwy in Doraville with average food. First time here in over ten years, and I remember why.This time I ordered combo for two which looked pretty good but not the best quality in terms of taste which they are supposedly known for…Side dishes were okay and the cucumber kimchi was the best. The server was friendly, but was grilling the meat too quickly even though they weren’t busy at all. Told him that I’ll grill the rest… so we could take out time. We had a lot of leftovers, but left it there and some meat we didn’t grill
This was the biggest rip off for the not-so-great BBQ but more importantly, the most terrible service. Paid more money here than at 5 star beach front restaurants or 5 star steak houses, and got the worst service possible in my opinion. The place was dirty, worn down, disorganized, and the staff do what they want to do regardless of what you ask. I asked the waitress for knives for us to use with the ribs (they only gave us chopsticks.) The waitress told us that tongs were better. Who is she to tell us that we should use tongs, and, not knives with our ribs???Very over-priced, and they force the minimum tip at around 20%, and then it goes up.I found their business practice very offensive.Just don't go there.

The restaurant is separated in two sections, main dining and Korean bbq grills. The Korean bbq option my friends and I got was some of the best quality beef we've had in a while. The nice ladies who work there will also cook the food for you and make sure you are taken care of. This place also gets pretty busy so if you want to try this place out either come early or prepare to wait.

We ordered the Ssam Bap and it was superb. If you’re going for a healthy yet DELICIOUS option this is it. The cod fish stew was flavored just like I’ve had it in Korea, nice variety of lettuce to layer, and the spicy stir fried pork (ask for this option not on menu) was the perfect level of flavor and spice! Great service as multiple employees touched our table.
