I love their pastries. The Spongecake is the best in my opinion! Always stop here when I come to town!
Best bakery around! Very unassuming but everything is delicious!! Would recommend the taro bun, pineapple bun, and coconut custard bun.
after the new management, I have visited them a couple of times. Their bakery wasn't so bad after all. But this weekend I patroned them again, and discovered the size of their bakery is smaller in comparison than before. The price is the same. Like Joe Biden mentioned it on his speech, these businesses are conducting shrinkenomic?
Literally everything I had was SOOO delicious! I really recommend this place if you don’t like SUPER sweet baked goods. My favorites were the custard bun and the bbq pork bun and I will be returning to try more of everything!
Usually the tucked away hole in the wall spots are good and this place is no exception. (They open at 9:30 on Friday idk about the other days but Google has that wrong.)
After seeing some recommendations for the buns here I went and got the bbq pork bun, egg tarts, Ham and egg bun, and coconut bun.
Bbq Pork bun- Idk if it’s specifically a Chinese bbq flavor but I got no hint of bbq that I’m familiar with. The taste is hard to explain but the flavors clashed in a not so good way, too much onion too. Might be an acquired taste but I wouldn’t get it again 5/10
Ham and Egg bun- The ham was salted perfectly and the scrambled egg was firm but soft. Combined with the texture of the soft bread this was great. Easily the best bun out of all of them and I would go back for these. 8/10
Egg Tart- Crispy flaky crust and egg was a nice combo of sweet and savory. Good texture as well. Never had egg tarts but I would get it again, they’re not amazing but they’re good.
7/10
Coconut bun-I had these the next day so not as fresh as they would’ve been but it was decent. I felt they could’ve used more coconut paste(?) or whatever the filling was. Too much bread to coconut ratio.
7/10
The bread is the star of the show here. Buns are so soft, baked to perfection and does the heavy lifting if the filling isn’t amazing.
This place is awesome! Super yummy pastries and the owners are incredibly friendly. Their egg tarts are absolutely delicious.
They might have the best pineapple polo bbq pork in Atlanta.
So I first heard of this place from a Facebook group who recommended it. It’s a small, covert bakery tucked away into the Asian Plaza on Buford Highway. I stopped in here just to check it out since I heard their pastries were fresh and delicious. I went somewhat near the end of the day so they had sold out of their famous egg tarts. I ended up picking a taro bun and some coconut pastries. I’m not sure if they were the owners or just workers but they did not speak English well. That’s okay, I was just trying to check out. Minus the language barrier, it was relatively quick to check out and get on our way. I tried the pastries once I got home and oh my gosh…I think I found my new favorite bakery. Everything was SUPER fresh and so so good!!! Also…not to mention the pastries were cheap!!!! I got 3 pastries for like $6 or so. Not only were they yummy but also very affordable!! I will definitely be making another visit in the future.
Me and my husband has been looking for a bakery like this with freshly made buns and Yuenyeung (hk coffee and hk tea mixed) and this place was it! Very delicious and will definitely be back soon

I grew up coming to this bakery every weekend with my family. When I heard the original owners sold it so that they could retire back to Hong Kong, I was nervous the bakery wouldn't be the same. I do think the bread still tastes really good. The generosity of pork sung and other toppings has decreased, but honestly the taste is still really good.

Amazing place to find some Hong Kong treats. I highly recommend their coconut bun, it’s the best I’ve had.
However, stay clear of their HK milk tea. It’s super watery and isn’t tasty. Overall, great place.

Good to see a niche HK bakery in the area! It has a lot of nostalgic vibes with the choice of breads and seating area. Prices are more than what I’m used to but slightly cheaper than the nearby plaza bakeries. I had the pork bun, which was yummy and was filled with meat!
An absolute gem in ATL! The buns are delicious and authentic to what you would find at a Chinese/Cantonese/-inspired bakery. Highly recommend the BBQ pork bun, the pineapple bun/菠蘿包 and taro bun and coconut bun… basically everything! The egg tarts are super tasty too with flaky shell. Wish more people knew about this mom and pop kind of shop.
