After having Ibu’s Kitchen only twice, I find myself thinking about it so often and I can’t wait to go again. Not only does the food taste delicious, it’s also soul-nourishing in the way that a loving home-cooked meal is. Walking into Ibu’s kitchen is like walking into a beloved family member’s home who has invited you for dinner. The owners are so kind and more than happy to curate a suggested order for you if you don’t even know where to start. Ibu’s is a must, especially if you’re looking for halal food!!! I got the Soto Betawi with chunks of lamb and I highly recommend!!

So delighted to find authentic Indonesian cuisine in Doraville. I used to travel frequently to Indonesia for work so I can say this place hit the spot. This is a place we would drive hours just for a meal. The owners were so hospitable and made it feel like you’re a guest in their home. We will be back here often.
Bonus: there is an also an Indonesian grocery store and dessert shop in the same complex.

Delightful food made by delightful people. Ibu’s kitchen is the closest I’ve gotten to a perfect nasi Padang in the US. The food is perfectly spiced and perfectly salted.
We tried the buffet and enjoyed everything

This place is fantastic and we already can’t wait to return! We ordered roti, sate kambing (mutton skewers), mie goreng ayam (fried noodles and chicken), and soto mie (beef broth soup). Everything was delicious! The owner was so incredibly nice and gave us recommendations on food as well as chatted with us during our meal. We learned during our visit that Ibu means mother in Malay and it’s absolutely perfect because this place has all the warmth, comfort, and goodness of eating at your mom’s house ❤️

Was maybe my first time trying Indonesian food? This a must try for Buford highway.
This restaurant is chef owned and you can tell from the delicious food. Everything we ordered was incredible from the curry to the chicken skewers to the noodles.
The location is quite large, with a small store inside selling Indonesian and perhaps other popular Asian products, as well as traditional Indonesian attire. I thought it was cool to feel somewhat immersed in the culture when dining.
5 stars all the way!

Feels like home. Family owned, family run. The food is so tasty and there’s so much to try. They sell traditional Indonesian clothing and traditional Indonesian treats as well
I’ll be coming back to explore more of the menu!
Also they have a great coke-cola alternative called Salaam Cola

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Ibu's is so comforting and really felt like eating in your uncle/aunt's kitchen. You order up at the counter and they bring to you, there's also a mini store with clothes and grocery items to browse through when waiting on food. The owners are so sweet and very kind in giving explanations on food.
Roti- very good, nice and flaky with a mini sauce that went with it.
Mie Ayam- lovely with a light flavor plate, with slightly sweet undertones.
Sate Pandang- meat skewers in sauce with fluffy soft rice(?) blocks. Really great curry sauce that came with it, spice was really good. If you need more, they have a great chili sauce.
This place is deserving of all the love and support, cheering them on and can't wait to bring more friends next time.

We were the only people there for lunch. It has only been open a few days and the full menu was not yet available but everything was good and the guy was very nice and helpful explaining things that we weren't familiar with.
