I went here with my mother around noon this Tuesday. We ordered two Roti Canai (one each) and the Kari Fish Fillet. The curry sauce was absolutely delicious, creamy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the roti. I also liked that the sauce had more than just liquid. It included a piece of potato and chicken. I always love eating the potato once I'm done with my roti.
The Kari Fish was good as well, though the vegetables in it were a bit overripe. I appreciate that each table had its own water jug, so we didn’t have to ask the server for refills as often.
I used to eat at Mamak frequently before quarantine, but since moving farther away, I don’t visit as often. I’m glad to say it’s still just as good as I remembered.
I also recommend trying the Rendang Beef, the meat is very tender, and the rich sauce tastes amazing with rice.

Small and good Malaysian restaurant. We started with chicken skewers, then ordered okra, salt & pepper squid, walnut shrimp, curry laksa. The food came with a bowl of white rice. Everything we ordered was delicious!! They have ice teas and soft drinks but don’t serve alcohol beverages in October 2025. Free and big parking lot available. It’s located in the same shopping center as the sweet hut bakery.

There is plenty parking space, and service was courteous. I was expecting more Malaysian food, the menu shows about 3/4 are Chinese food, specially Cantonese food. My wife ordered CHOW KWAY TEOW (炒粿條)and I ordered CURRY LAKSA (咖喱麵). both were very good and tasty. For the fried noodle I liked the chewy noodle, but the squid part was little hard to chew; I liked my Curry Laksa noodle, which was creamy and right amount of spicy, I really like it, but the noodle can be better. BTW, Roti Canai was also good with Laksa dip sauce.

The Mamak tofu we ordered tasted extremely bad and sour, clearly not fresh. When we tried to address the issue, the restaurant staff were shockingly rude, refused to provide a refund, and behaved in a disrespectful and discriminatory way. Very disappointing experience.

Loved the roti canai and sambal okra for takeout. My order was ready in 20 minutes. The okra was crunchy and not slimy at all. A little smoky and almost sweet.
Mamak has a big menu. It was hard to choose. I'll have to come back. We went there with another couple.
We ordered so many things! Everything was very good. Some dishes were excellent. Those include:
The chicken wing appetizer
Fish and tofu
Beef brisket- so tender!
Roti
We will definitely be back!!!

Always delicious. When introducing new people to this place, we will typically get the lemongrass chicken and the mango chicken. The roti is also amazing.

Went with family and we were treated very well and the food was fabulous. Would go back again, if I loved in Atlanta. My family will definitely be back!

It's in a strip mall. Not much to the decor. But let's be real, you're coming for the food. The beef was tender and flavorful. Vegetables were crisp tender. Sauce had just the right amount of spice. Okra was mid for me, still to gummy. Okra.. you either love it or hate it. The chicken dish.. this was great, the sauce was complex, sweet with nice heat at the back. If I was to eat here again.. I would order the chicken again.

I was disappointed with my order. The portion size was really small and not shareable at all. The Roti Canai tub was not filled it came with less than half of the container and came with one paratha(they don’t make in house looks like the frozen one you buy at store) . The Lamek Ayam Goreng the chicken drumstick very small , came with no chili sauce. For the price, I expected a more satisfying amount of food, but it felt underwhelming and not worth the value. The flavors were fine, but overall the serving was too limited to justify the cost. Very disappointed drove over 30mins for this.
