It’s about the food. Good service and okay atmosphere but the food is outstanding. We ordered 7-8 dishes and each was great. Staples lie rendang, chicken rice, kway tiaw, salted fish fried rice were excellent and the stand out was the sambal okra—just wow. Went back two days later. Same great experience.

To all the reviews that stated this place has a new chef and ownership-it's absolutely TRUE and not for the better. Have been coming here for years for good Malaysian food but was concerned when it didn't look like the normal packed house. First, the place has been taken over by Chinese mainlander ownership (not racist, I am also Chinese) trying to do "Malaysian." Second, the customer service is nonexistent because quite frankly no body cares. My classic fish soup noodle is completely different from the way it was. The fish pieces (see picture) use to be fried and bursting with flavor. Now, it's just a standard flavorless, MSG dependent dish. Regret not checking their reviews when the place looked a bit too empty.

Please pay attention of the most recent reviews before you go. Forget the previous good reviews, they don't apply to this place no more. This is the not the same restaurant like it once was. Owner, chef, and staffs have changed. The price is high, food quality is so so, and the service is mediocre.

Quick summary - used to be great, ate the same 5 dishes every week or other week since winter 2023. In Spring 2024 on one visit on a Friday night, those same 5 dishes tasted terrible....completely different.... as if they came from a different restaurant or chef. I asked if something had changed and they said "no, same chef". I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went the following week, ordering the same 5 dishes. Same experience, complete garbage. I have not been back since. If the "manager" isn't willing to be honest, how can you trust anything this restaurant serves or says.

Service is good, but this is not Malaysian food. Chinese style menu with a take on Malaysian cuisine. Rendang was dry.

I’ve visited this place more than a handful of times, and it has never failed to impress me. Each visit, I’ve tried a new dish, and I’ve enjoyed every one of them. My personal favorites are the Randang and the fried rice. In my opinion, their fried rice is the best in the area.

The food came out lightning fast — something we appreciated immensely! My favorite dish was the roti canai, which consisted of a soft, flaky flatbread paired with a flavorful curry dip. Other items that I ordered, chicken rendang and beef chow ho fun, were also decent.

I ordered the nasi lemak to go and they gave me like a tablespoon of the sauce. Unfortunately I didn't check until I got home so I ended up eating plain rice??
