All good, great lightning fast service, food’s prepared fresh and quick, looks amazing… what else can we ask for? But then we took a bite, and a spicy crying ensued. This was the spiciest spicy tuna we ever had. Definitely not kid friendly. Otherwise everything was great!

The bento box is 17.99 with a lot of food, including tempura and sashimi as a side.
Food is always fresh, service is attentive. Consistent quality and traditional japanese cuisine is what always makes me recommend Yokohama.

This is a pretty legit sushi spot. We've been here a few times and I've mainly had sashimi and some rolls. Prices are totally reasonable and the portions are pretty large, and fish taste fresh.
The only downside is that the menu is so huge and I have barely scratched the surface but I have yet to have anything bad here.
The atmosphere is low key. Just good food and not pretentious. Highly recommended!

Ordered one the Georgia crunch roll, it was okay. Didn't taste as fresh as I'm used to experiencing with sushi. I got takeout so I only can rate the service from that vantage point but they seemed to be friendly and helpful. I may go back once more to try a different roll to see if it's the same experience before I decide to keep them in my repository or not.

I was very disappointed with the grilled salmon and soup lunch. I wouldnot recommend.

Solid eatery for sushi and Japanese fare, but the moment you are done eating, that table will be turned fast.

Everything we ordered was great. Miso soup is slight on the salty side. Sashimi is fresh and juicy. My favorite is the teacup. It is very stylish full of Japanese culture.

My buddies Doug and Bryan and I had dinner at Yokohama on December 20, 2022. It was Doug's and my first time; Bryan had been there a couple of times and recommended the place. The ambience was simple and unpretentious, without much decoration. There were booths along the walls. At the sushi station there were two chefs busy at making sushi. That was a good sign. That meant there were enough orders to keep two chefs busy. The owner was there, behind the cash register, all smiles. Bryan said the owner, Japanese, does not speak a word of English. He recognized, smiled and waved at Bryan.
I suggested we start with the calamari appetizer. Doug and Bryan had beers. I stuck to my water. The calamari was excellent. Battered and fried just right. Next we had a Korean pancake, which could have been a meal all by itself. For my main course I ordered the shrimp and vegetable tempura entrée. Doug and Bryan shared a chef's choice dish of sashimi. The tempura was excellent. Whenever I check out a Japanese restaurant for the first time, I order either a tonkatsu ramen or a shrimp tempura; these are basic Japanese dishes, among others. A restaurant worth returning to must prepare these dishes well. And Yokohama passed with flying colors. I tried a slice or two from the sashimi plate. The fish was fresh and melted in my mouth. Excellent as well.
All in all, a place I would definitelly recommend.
I love the veggie hand roll, plus they have both pumpkin tempura roll AND sweet potato tempura roll. Mmmm
Best sushi I have tried in Atlanta!
It's a small place so there's not a lot of parking available. The service was fast and they serve big portions.

The best sushi I’ve had thus far in Atlanta. I do wish there was a bit more non-tempura options, but other than that, I love this place.
