Best chicken spot in Douglas, Ga
Really love the customer service, as well as the great tasting food....great prices for the portions of food you get with each meal. Great place to eat lunch or dinner!
The service was great, the cashier was so nice. The food was fresh and delicious. The cost for the portion is very reasonable. The manager was there and was making jokes, it was cool. It was a very nice experience. If I'm in Douglas again I will definitely get something from Chix and Fish. The lemon pepper wings were amazing!
Go to favorite place for good eating.
Love it
I recently visited Chix and Fish, and I was blown away by the quality and freshness of the food. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy. Every bite was flavorful, and you could tell they use high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and efficient. Whether you’re craving crispy fried fish or juicy, well-seasoned chicken, this place does it right. Definitely a must-try for anyone who loves fresh, well-prepared food 😍!
Nasty!!
I moved up here a few moths back absolutely love the food here professional and friendly staff. The food itself is delicious tried various things on the menu and haven’t disappointed yet. Prices are reasonable too.
Horrible
We stopped in after a hospital stay because we wanted anything other than hospital food, and when I saw "Chix" in the name, I knew it had to be good! I'm glad to report it wasn't just good, but great ?
I had a fried flounder sandwich with fries, and my husband ordered the lunch shrimp combo. The breading was well seasoned, and the fish and shrimp fried perfectly to my liking. The fries aren't salted, just a heads up in case you're ordering for the first time or taking it to-go- but they were a great cut and again, fried to a perfect crisp on the outside while soft on the inside. Last but not least, the cole slaw: I am picky about my cole slaw, to the point I don't even like the one I make, lol!; but I ate my cup, and then my husband's cup, and then I wanted more! I'd make the drive from Alma just to grab a pint of that, so two thumbs up from me and more if I had them!
The server was patient and friendly while answering our questions, and offered suggestions to our meals that we both took and enjoyed. The cooks, maybe also the owners?, also had huge smiles on their faces while serving their guests.
All in all, we enjoyed everything about it and have plans to visit once they can recover from the events of Hurricane Helene. There are many items on the menu that look delicious, but the chocolate cake I passed on last time definitely looks like a reason to keep your eye on this place!
