This had to have been the worst possible food I’ve had since moving to Douglas. If this is Asian food here, I’m offended for them. The vegetables were wrinkled and no seasoning whatsoever, and who uses baby carrots??? The salmon was disgustingly sweet and the chicken tasted old. Worst food I’ve ever had for the ugliest price. Never coming back

It was ok. Chicken was sparse and very fatty. Must use msg cause my stomach was not happy after eating there. Won't go again.

The Hibachi Steak is usually good every time I have been to Tokyo Express except today 08/23/2025. The steak was so tough that I could not chew it. I called and told the owner about it and they wanted me to bring it back and make another plate but I live 30 miles away and was not coming back. I won't ever go back to Tokyo ever again.

The service was horrible food was made wrong my wife asked for no muchrooms and when we told them that they took the plate and 5 seconds came back all they did was pick threw what they could off the plate and brought it back still had mushrooms in it if she was alergic they would not care they also serve poorly made sushi I love sushi but now I feel sick to my stomach after eating theirs I do not recommend at all ever like ever ever ever at all

Always the best. Wish the prices were lower but definitely better than Kobe which is the only other option for similar food in douglas. The owners and staff are great here. Always friendly and helpful and I chose to pay a little extra when it checks all the boxes. The hibachi steak plate is my favorite. Their grilled veggies OMG!!! I have actually just gotten a veggie plate. I love this place!!!
Love this place. The only place around where we live that I would ever eat Japanese.
