I LOVE this place! I come mainly for the dessert. I'll get food too, but the cake?! OMG theeee best! My partner LOVES the cheesecake. They tell me all the time that this is the best cheesecake they've ever had. So I'll always get a cake for myself and a cheesecake for them. I wanted to surprise them with a broomsman cake for our wedding so I got the Milk n Cookies cheesecake (their all time fav) and it was a hit at our wedding. The broomsmaids loved it as well.
Y'all, the food and dessert here is so good, I promise! Plus, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Try them out. You won't regret it.

I got food poisoning from eating here, bad experience

Stopped in today for the first time. Decided to try the smothered pork roast, with cabbage and black eyed peas. The meal also included cornbread, which was very delicious. The roast was good, although I’m used to a bit more seasoning, but that’s just the Louisiana in me. So, please don’t get it wrong.. it was good. The cabbage & black eyed peas were also delicious.

Service was great and I will definitely try again.

Very good ordered take out baked chicken collards and yams...tasty not over seasoned...I highly recommend!

Nice little soul food spot. Great customer service, very welcoming. Food was good, I ordered the lemon pepper whitening and coleslaw. And my wife ordered fried shrimp and mac and cheese. The only thing that I don't like was the coleslaw. It was dry, not enough coleslaw dressing in it. And the red velvet cake was not moist at all, and cornbread to sweet for me,but it was my first time, and I would go back again to try other things. I just know what to stay away from lol 😆.

After a few times of ordering I have to say this place is one of the few best places to eat out from in the local area. Place always looks, smells clean. Food is always good and closest to a home cooked meal. I recommend the baked chicken, yams, mac n cheese, chicken fingers and fried whiting. Desserts are delicious. Peach cobbler,
strawberry shortcake and banana pudding are also recommended.

1st time here, food wax amazing. Fresh yummy portions technically could feed 2. Bang for your dollar.

Hubby and I got meals that come with 2 sides. I think that's the platter, and we split everything. We got chicken tenders (yummy), which were huge rice with onion rings (fat & crispy) and coleslaw (hubby ate this before I could try). I got baked chicken (Flavor!) and rice with green beans( fresh and you can taste the seasoning) & Mac n cheese( extra cheesy). Both came with Cornbread (not too sweet). Every morsel was perfectly seasoned. you can taste fresh ingredients. Amazing, I will be back soon !

Dinner was so good! We stopped in and picked up the chicken (cooked perfect and moist) and fried catfish (great coating and cooked perfect). The sides were all a hit too. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to order on the fried items. I hope you visit them and they stay around for a while!

I found this place on Google because I wanted southern cuisine. I had the pork pot roast, Mac & cheese and yams. I was absolutely delicious and generously portion. Seems to be family owned and the staff was very welcoming and warm. I'll definitely be back!

The Owner daughter is a sweet heart. My husband and I had the bake chicken and rice with collards and cornbread. It is so good!! The best we had since we moved from Boston. I will be going back. Thank you so much!!!
