Blu Rose Art Bistro

Very impressed! My hubby and I got a random Saturday kid-free and wanted to make it special, Blu Rose did not disappoint, the food was great, the service was exceptional, and my Lemon Drop was on point! The best part was that it was ALL in my own community, what a gem!

There was no air conditioning and it was very humid and hot that evening and narrow in space. Might have been short of the reason why they were so behind in the preparation of the orders and waitress service. As for the food when I finally got it. The chicken tenders platter wasn't enough to feed a 3 yr old kid. 3 miniature strips about the size of a pinky finger on a mini wood cut designed plate with a handful of fries for $8.35. Maybe on a better night service would have been good. However, chicken tenders need to longer and thicker for the price instead of the mini me tenders

We were blown away by the service and the exquisite food! Unique was our server, she was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the art in the decor on the wall the heritage behind the portraits and the owner personally visited our table!

We normally go to Gritz,but as usual it was crowded so we stumbled up on Blue Rose Art Bistro.The food and atmosphere was great but I had a problem with my bill. The total came up to $74.17 (taxes included) I gave the waitress a brand new $100 gift card that I open in front of her and $20 cash because I needed change to give her a tip in cash.. How come my gift card had a $11 balance when it should have been $25.83 . I called the restaurant and tried to explain myself to the young man over the phone ,but he said that he has to go get the manager.Place me on hold for 15 minutes .So I hang up and called back a total of 9 times and no answer. I won’t be coming back.. I called the customer service number on the back of the card and they said that Blu Rose charge my gift card $89. So the waitress got $15 tip off the card and $10 cash tip from me. I specifically told her to put the bill on the gift card and I gave her a twenty bill to get change so that I can give her tip in cash.I also ask her do they include the tips in the bill and she told my husband and I NO!!!!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself coming to this establishment. I have been to this establishment four times now. Each time I have gotten a different meal and I have been pleased with the offering, especially the deviled eggs and also the salmon. I was served by Leah and I did not know this was Leah‘s first week but she did a tremendous job with us. The second time we came we were served by Britney. Britney was so cheery. And then to meet the manager I hope I don’t mess up the name, but her name was Charita. I don’t know how to spell it lol, but she was really really personable and conversational, but had her crew looking good. I really love the aesthetic and the feel of this place and I hope it stays around for years to come

The service I had today on July 19th while attempting to eat here versus the way others were treated would make me never eat here again and I enjoyed this place before they changed. This is based off service alone not food, the food is usually fantastic but no one came around to even know what we wanted.

The food was absolutely amazing! Every bite was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The Music and Art added the perfect touch — smooth, uplifting, and just right for the atmosphere. The overall vibe was amazing, warm, stylish, and welcoming. If you're looking for a place with great food and a great experience, Blue Rose Art Bistro is it!!!!!!

I will start off with saying that this place is a gem. Having visited this establishment on several occasions and always been thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, I decided to bring a friend visiting from out of town. Regrettably, My friend's order was obviously unsatisfactory. While my own meal was acceptable, it did not live up to the standards I had come to expect, especially since I had ordered the same dish several times in the past. The portion sizes appeared smaller, and the quality was lacking. Specifically, the Po' boy shrimp sandwich was dry, and contained 4 few small pieces of bagged lettuce. The bread was cold. The French fries also had some rotten ends. Despite this, I have always appreciated the pleasant ambiance, the attentive service, and the artwork on display. I intend to return in the future and hope this was merely an isolated incident.

I’m only giving a 2 rating because the server was absolutely amazing kind and really tried to find a solution. Adored her however, I was so excited to eat here the vibe of this place is uniquely beautiful but the food. I was underwhelmed and that’s being kind. The French toast I ordered was suppose to come with bananas and whipped cream. This is what I got three tiny ends of a banana and drenched in syrup so much I couldn’t enjoy it. The second shrimp and grits would have been ok if it had any flavor at all. The grits weren’t cooked all the way through and the three shrimp I got made it not even worth wanting to eat. It was so bland I had to add so much salt. I don’t know who the head chief is but this was not it. I heard so many good things. I sure hope it gets better. The service is excellent.

We (party of 5) came in today; the atmosphere was nice and the service was okay. We did have a problem with the food that wasn’t received well, but the OWNER was nice enough to come out to us and hear our complaints! She rectified the situation and even gave us complimentary mimosas! As someone who loves to support black-owned businesses, this was a pretty decent establishment. Just work on the food items and this could become a great business to support!

Do not order delivery from here. Portions are abysmal and descriptions don't match what they send. 1/4th waffle missing and tiny pieces of thigh meat not tenders. 1.5 piece of super thin sliced French toast with berries not banana and pecan flambeau as described on doordash.
