Bruster's Real Ice Cream

Came for the advertised $5 deal for “customer appreciation” and was told your location doesn’t participate. Well that’s false advertising when it’s on the Douglasville location website. Disappointed

Ice cream good, just a little too pricey for the portion sizes!

Tasty ice cream but paying $5.29 and no ice cream down in the cone, bad business!

The ice cream was good, but they didn't have the non dairy white chocolate truffle for my mom, but I got their Italian ice, which is really good and smooth. Definitely recommend the watermelon Italian ice

My sister (whom also left a review some time ago) tried to place an order for a cake one Friday afternoon with the intent of having it ready by the next day (Saturday). The manager went on to ask about the details of the cake and said that a prepayment was needed in order to start the cake. My sister wasn't able to make a prepayment because she doesn't have a card to input information, so she and the manager exchanged emails on how to do so. In the end, my sister emailed them that we would pay in cash the following day. As I went to pickup the cake, the manager tells me about this "48 hour policy", where an order for a cake must be made within 48 hours of the date it is needed and must have a prepayment in order to start the cake. This so-called policy of there's was never explained to my sister, so she wasn't able to know that it wasn't possible to make the cake. Had the manager been responsible enough from the beginning and cleared things out (by stating the policy and making things clear with my sister), I wouldn't be writing this excessively long review. But here I am to speak the truth about this specific Bruster's and how it has been degrading over the years. To whomever is reading this, you're better off avoiding this location and going to Coldstone or another Bruster's location instead.

I made an attempt to order a cake. I called and sent emails to place an order for my cake. They told me it was possible and by the time we went to pick up the cake, they stated that it was not possible. I was not aware of the 48 hour prior policy, if they had told me when I first called it would've been okay. However, I was not aware of this due to them not letting me know.

Bad service Some people are fine ,They are kind and helpful. But there is one lady who is horrible: she is rude, very unpleasant I don't want to say this but she is racist and if she doesn't like doing her job she should look for another place to work.

Had a bad experience this weekend with my kids. Got 4 orders of ice cream and got over charged. Had to ask for receipt and the young lady charged me for toppings I didn’t get. Advised her of the overcharge and she stated she’s not sure what happened but we don’t give refunds. Asked to speak to a manager, and it wasn’t one there, asked for owner and he/she wasn’t there either.. I then asked for someone phone number, I called and called but it kept going to voicemail after 1 ring. So before I posted this review, I see this is common problem at this location. So of course I didn’t get any refund or justice for my over charge. All I can say is buyer BEWARE!

I am an ice cream enthusiast who usually goes to Jeni’s, despite the drive, because there aren’t many options in Douglas County. This summer, I decided to try Bruster’s, and it's been a great experience. As a Southern girl, I love Butter Pecan ice cream, and Bruster’s version is exceptional—rich, creamy, and buttery, making me a regular customer. I highly recommend Bruster’s for both their ice cream and customer service.
