Wow - this place has changed from the previous owner. The food is not as good as the original owner. The vegetables were tasteless like it was poured right out the can. Very small portions for sides. I will not return. Absolutely the worst!!!

I was highly impressed with the level of customer service and actually astonishing surprise with the food quality. I would highly-recommend this restaurant as one of the best soul food places I've been to in Georgia and. I'm originally from georgia good job to will return soonVegetarian options: They cook their vegetablesare Turkey Based products great for meParking: The parking lot is a little tight definition of a large truck. Show me a couple of spots in the front of the restaurant. Other than that, you have the park somewhere else.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA ACCESSIBLE

I really enjoy Burkes. They have a very niceatmosphere to go with great food that makes you feel warm inside. 10/10 for real. I like to get the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and cream corn. The Mac and Cheese is an honorable mention though. It tastes like it’s made similar to or with the white gravy and definitely worth trying.

My husband heard really great things about this place so we decided to give it a try. Maybe the food is better when it’s brought fresh to the table, we ordered our food to go and I was disappointed when my husband came back home with the food. His first comment was that the woman that assisted him with his carry out order wasn’t very nice. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were over baked with my gravy in a cup, not on my biscuits. My home fries were left out of the bag but when I tasted my husband’s, I was fine with the fact that they were missing. They were just tiny cubes of potatoes and nothing more. I guess you have to season your own food because the gravy for my biscuits was as bland as the home fries. Maybe we’ll give it another try if we dine in but carry out is definitely not an option.

The food was amazing. That black Queen in the kitchen was throwing down BY HERSELF Y'ALL! She made my veggies fresh to order. I did not wait a long time either. My server Kevin was awesome. He even gave a few recommendations of other places I could visit since I'm sort of a foodie. My first time here was awesome. I will return!! Please don't walk, run to Burke's Grill where the service is just as good as the food. I wish you guys much success. Peace and Blessings

The catfish was amazing both options. Rather, it be fried or blackened, sure the grilled is just as sumptuous!Service is fast, accurate, and also friendly, which is these a rarity these days.Cute little dinner spot inside (watch out) for the waiting benches as you come inside the door to your immediate right, they will get ya. ??

In a sea of chain restaurants, this one is worth a few minutes off the interstate!! Small and quaint. I highly recommend the fried catfish!

I visited Burkes today 09/03/2023At 11am. Plenty of parking space. Restaurant was clean. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately and was told to pick any where to seat. After sitting a server came to our table with no wait. Took our drink orders as we looked over the menu.Food: I am a VERY picky eater as well as my other half and our children BUT I can honestly say this is the best we had in Douglasville thus far (And we have tried every restaurant on our side by the train tracks) the only item that could have been better was our scramble eggs with cheese and the French toast was not to our liking. However the people there was amazing! The chef checked on us a few times and interact which is VERY different! We loved that he did so!We are definitely making this home. Thankyou for being a great team.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu and pretty simple and the price is not bad at all. There menu is the adult menu in small portions and small prices?

8/24 - Just left Burke’s Grill off Chapel Hill in Douglasville. A Togo order which was my first mistake. My second mistake not checking my order before leaving. I ordered the chicken and waffles and MAN!! what a disappointment!! The chicken strips were too small the waffle was indescribable. Which ever cook plated this food should be ashamed. The real true Burke would have never allowed such to happen. Luckily I also ordered the fried green tomatoes and catfish/grits for my husband which he shared with me. New Burke please stop messing up people food and step your game up because no one has money to waste!

First time eating here and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Elijah, did a great job taking care of our large group. He was kind, courteous, and attentive to our needs. My only recommendation would be to change the corn bread recipe, it was a little on the gummy side. Everything else was true scrumptious southern comfort food.Vegetarian options: I had the veggie plate and it was very tasty!
