Delicious, delicious, sooo delicious…. Heating my food up from yesterday, tastes even better the second day and I still have half of the plate left! I had the $19.99 Rib dinner ( they give a good portion- looks like 1/2 rack🤤, Mac n cheese 🔥 and yams😍. The hubs had the #8-$18.99 catfish (so big, it barely fit in the to go plate), lemon pepper wings and 2 sides; I thought my wings were good, but baby, I wanted to suck the bone! Da Menu did not disappoint❤️ The Owner and staff are really friendly!

The people inside are always nice but I’ve been here twice and it wasn’t all that. The first time they suggested the ribs that were not tender, not horrible but not that good either. I decided to try them out again and treated a friend. I ended up getting us 2 turkey wing plates paying over $60 and while the portion size was great the flavor was lacking. They barely had any flavor, gravy was bland as well and rice had no seasoning at all. My friend ordered a side of okra and it ended up taking over 40min to receive. I don’t think the order for it had been put in correctly as it doesn’t take that long for a side of okra and it wasn’t that busy. I really had been looking for a local soul food spot near my home but I may have to keep driving to Atl for some real soul food. My plate had been ready within 15min so since I was waiting on my friends food by the time we ate my food was cold.

Cook went live with ribeye steaks with two sides for $25 I was excited never been there but kept hearing how good the food is … got the last piece but wasn’t told that till I asked about the size… then was given the option to wait 20 mins for the rest to come off the grill ?! I also got a rib tip plate with collard greens with Mac and cheese. The food was good but a discount on the special would have been nice . Was going to share with someone but the steak wasn’t big enough.

I visited this restaurant serval times before for dinner, food is always good. Great customer service. I Ordered ribs and rib tips for an event I had June 7th. The ribs was delicious, the flavor was immaculate . Thank you guys. I will order again

I ordered DoorDash and pasta did not taste well and chicken was dried out and overcooked. I heard good things but I guess the pasta is not their strong dish at all.

I was told about amazing chicken wings! Well the story is true!!!! I’ve never ever had a chicken wing to compare. Since I was there I went ahead and got ribs Mac n cheese and collard greens too. Oh my oh my oh my. I have just found a slice of heaven! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I give this place 5 stars all the way. Only down side for chef Ricks is if you aren’t looking for him, you might jus pass it by and never even know.

Last week was the first time in this good restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the generous service, with the fine cooking and booze and with the modest payment. We will surely go back there soon.

by far the best gumbo I’ve ever had and my family from Mississippi. Fish sandwich too all torch eats from a black owned establishment. Definitely a hidden gem of Douglasville ??
