Staff up front was out standing . I am from the South the rib tips where rough not cooked good . Tasted like char coal on it . Not impressed very spicy on all the food I bought . Not worth 50 dollars . I felt like I was going up into a night club . Music was to loud .

I've eaten here a few times. The first 2 visits, the food was great. The last 3 were not so great. The greens was horrible the last 3 times. The yams tasted like they just poured pancake syrup only to attempt to give a sweet taste. I recently visited and was hoping to get a different outcome. I did not, the greens was horrible, no taste and looked like spinach soaking in water. I got the 3 whole wing meal. The wings clearly came from a baby chicken(guess why they thought giving me 4 would suffice) and kind of burnt. The Mac n cheese was great though, never was disappointed with that particular side. I do feel the younger cashier can be a bit rude to customers(never to me, only seen how she speaks to others). I am going to assume maybe they have a new cook or something. I'm going to give them a break for a while and come back in a few months to see if there are any improvements with the quality and taste of the food items.

Food was luke warm off their "hot" bar or warming table and the salmon philly was full of grease and the cheese was half melted. Parking lot is very small and has large potholes.

We had the catfish dinner. The seasonings were good, but the fish was fried very hard. That may be good for some, just not for me. Sides were just ok. We plan on visiting one more time before deciding if it's worthwhile. Right now, I rate it 3/5.
This is my third time giving this restaurant a try, so I can give a true opinion of the food. The first time I ordered the riblets. They were very tough and unedible. I excused that meal because I felt the restaurant might have been super busy because of the tik tok fame. The second time I ordered the oxtails. They were okay but on the salty side. The rice was just rice, and the cabbage was basic. The third time I ordered the salmon and shrimp. The salmon was the most overcooked fish I've ever had. The collard greens were bland and the green beans were straight from the can. The strange thing is that my husband had the salmon dish the day before and he swore that it was delicious. So I don't know if it's just inconsistency of who's cooking or they get busy and the quality goes down. But please still support the business. It's hard for small businesses, especially restaurants.

I got the pork chops lunch special and the chops were cooked perfectly! The Mac & Cheese needed salt but was fine. Sadly the greens were a DISGRACE!! Me along with several other people tasted them & all agreed that there was something in them that we had never tasted in greens before. I think it may have been tarragon which makes NO SENSE!!!Parking: The parking lot is a hot mess! Be careful!!

The BEST Lamb Chops I've ever eaten!!! The sides were AMAZING!!! I've been a repeat customer since they first opened and EVERY visit and meal has been GREAT!!!
