Overall experience is good. The live music was great, the service was good enough to check on us twice and the food was good. We didn't like the salsa at all, no flavor, but the chips and cheese were tasty. Margarita was good as well.
It is decent, affordable Mexican food in an outdated strip mall establishment. It is what it is, nothing fancy, but the chicken fajitas were well seasoned, fresh and enjoyable. If your expectations are over the top, you might be disappointed with the ambience and upkeep. However, service was on par with standard restaurant expectations and better than most national chains. Overall, a rather good meal at a fair price.
They DO have Birria Tacos. It isn’t on the menu- just ask your waiter.Comparing to a Birriaria (all they do is Birria) where we were first introduced to this deliciousness in San Antonio, TX… well this isn’t quite the same. For one, here it is loaded with onions and while I like them, so many onions takes over the flavor. The flavor was just missing the depth but we did finish the plate.
