We visit this location quite often and usually have a great experience. Then this. First, the cashier was rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. Next, the food was good, however, I waited 10 minutes for shrimp to be filled. While waiting, the manager asked what I was waiting for. I replied shrimp and fried chicken, both of which were empty. When he filled the shrimp, he informed me the chicken would be another 10 minutes. He then asked me where I was seated. He then brought chicken to my table himself when it was ready. This was exceptional service by him. That is why it is a rating of 4. He saved it from being a lower rating.

Golden Corral in Douglasville has a good variety of comfort foods, from fried chicken and pot roast to a solid salad bar and desserts. The restaurant is usually not too crowded, which makes it a convenient spot for families or groups.

Some dishes are really tasty, but I’ve noticed that food quality can be inconsistent at times. Cleanliness could also be improved — a few times I saw tables that weren’t fully cleaned. Overall, it’s a decent buffet option if you go during off-peak hours.

I wanna say I love Golden Corral! The food and my waiter was amazing. But this girl running front counter was very unprofessional. The whole time she was ringing me and my family up she was on her phone laughing. I just feel she’s very rude for the actions of hers that took place. My cousin made a complaint to her that it was very rude of her to be on her phone and she just laughed. I don’t know this girl from a can of paint but I can say she’s not fit for a family buffet.

Always good home cooked food! That's not going to break your pocket!

Good food. Well stocked buffet. We had a very attentive attendant refilling our drinks. Long wait & very crowded but that's expected for the time we visited.

I love the Douglasville location. We usually go in Sunday for breakfast. I enjoy the omelet bar. The young lady whom cooks is amazing, patient, and very friendly.

We went because we always go to GC when my grandpa comes to visit. A ROACH ran across the donut holes…the manager didn’t even bother to throw them out. So gross. If you see a roach, you can bet there are hundreds you don’t see. Ewww.

I've never been to a GC and had bad food until today. The entire bar was off. There were lots of dirty tables, I found 1 clean, unoccupied table. The breakfast juice dispenser had 99% water and 1% juice. The scrambled eggs had a liquid substance sitting on top of the eggs, the ranch from the salad bar tasted rancid, the fruit looked depressing, and the ice cream machine was dispensing milk. I hated to waste food, but I just could not bring myself to eat it. Now, for the positives, I discreetly made my grievances known to the manager. I wasn't expecting a refund, I just wanted to inform him. He acknowledged my issue, apologized, and refunded my money.
