Great American Cookies

Ordered a cookie for a birthday today. My phone says it’s dated for today they say their receipt for tomorrow all because they don’t have a decorator today. Tells me I can have the cookie tomorrow WHEN I CLEARLY NEEDED IT FOR TODAY. Then tells me I can’t even have a refund because it was a preorder but they haven’t even made it so why can’t it be cancelled and refunded? Why did the website let me order it for today? I get at least 6 cookie cakes a year from here and never will again!!! This was the Davenport Iowa location

We got one of your cookies for our 13 year olds birthday and turned out wonderfully in design and taste. We will definitely be back!

I was not impressed with American Cookie Company in Mandeviile , La. I. Bought a $71.00 square cookie cake with the fish decoration on it. Just one big fish !!! On the web site it was $59.00. At the store the same cake was $71.00. Was not even fresh. Very disappointed. Everyone asked where it came from so they know not to get one from there The best part is I called and that was 4 days ago and the manager was supposed to call me back. Her name is Katie so I was told. I’m not calling back again but leaving a bad review. I would think I should have gotten a call by now but shows that this manager doesn’t care. I will never order from them again. At least not the location in Mandeville,La

I am so impressed with the manager Nicole at the Arnold Blvd., Lafayette, LA store. There was a mixup in our order and she took care of everything we needed in a very positive and helpful way! I bring my grandchildren there often for ice cream and or cookies. The staff is always very attentive, smiling and helpful. We order cakes from there all the time, and they are always made fresh and delicious! Awesome store! Awesome management! Awesome staff! Great for Lafayette, Louisiana!

Do NOT do business with the Richardson Tx (State St) Great American Cookies location! I’m a full-time working mom of 3, and I placed an online order for my daughter’s birthday cake, intending to pick it up Friday, August 1st. I later realized I had accidentally selected the wrong pickup date (same-day), so I called the store on Monday to explain the honest mistake. The woman who answered casually said, “Oh, are you the Scooby Doo cake?”—so they clearly knew the order hadn’t been picked up. I apologized and asked why no one had called me. She claimed someone did, but I never received a missed call or voicemail. She said she'd talk to the owner and call me back. A man later called to say there was nothing they could do—no remake, no refund, no credit. Just come get a two-day-old cake if I wanted. I asked for the owner to call me directly. Still no response. This is an unacceptable way to treat a customer, especially when dealing with a child’s birthday. The complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability is astounding. I will never return to this location

I am so disappointed in the cookie cake I received from the Stillwater Oklahoma store. I ordered the custom cake 6 days ago. I showed the employee example pictures of Squishmallow themed cookie cakes. They said they could definitely do that and even asked if there were specific Squishmallows I wanted on it. When I picked it up today I was shocked. The examples used pastel colors, but the cake I picked up only used white and hot pink. There were two characters on it that I assume were supposed to be Squishmallows, but looked nothing like any Squishmallow I’ve ever seen. And to top it off the cake wasn’t even fully baked and was still doughy. 0/5 stars. I do not recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience at Great American Cookie! The customer service was outstanding—better than ever before. The staff is friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The store looks so much cleaner and brighter now, creating an inviting and enjoyable atmosphere. And the cookies? Fresh, delicious, and absolutely irresistible! You can truly taste the difference.

Highly recommend stopping by—this place just keeps getting better!

I heard it was shutdown for some reason and now new owners took over and they been doing a fantastic job

Great customer service and showing available products. Raquel is a peach and always a pleasure to deal with. We frequent the mall and my kiddo knows if he is good he will get to pick a treat. Cookies are always fresh and so so yummy. Will continue shopping at this location.

Ordered a cookie two days ago for my grandson’s birthday. Said I would be there at 2. Arrived at 2:15 they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Wait 15 min still not ready. Waited 15 more nope not ready. Waited until 3:25 pm. The lady at the cash register said no it isn’t ready. I ask what is that. It was out cookie she had not even kept up with it was ready!!!!!! She said oh are you Bennett ??I had ask her four times for the order for Bennett !!!! It would be different if they had been busy at the counter but they were not. She hands me the cookie box but the sides, corners, lids had not been put together. The corners were not notch, the lid collapsed onto the cooker and when we were trying to balance the box the cookie slide out if the box onto the floor. I picked up the box. Slid the cookie and assembled the box the way it should have been. The B on birthday was messed up. I ask the lady at the counter could she please fix the B in Birthday. She looked at me like are you crazy. Again the only person busy was the lady decorating cookies. The cash register lady was not busy.Will Never buy anything from Great American cookie company. And this location needs to clean house

I didn’t expect perfection, but more effort could have been given. You charge almost $50 for a cookie cake. I am disappointed. I’m pretty sure my 7 year old could have done better with placement as well as penmanship.

Ms. LUANDA, Is the reason I will be getting these cookie cakes on a regular. She is divine. She's the best businesswoman, your company must promote and give her a raise. She's truly the best. Give her the staff and hours she needs. Her skills on these cakes are matchless. She's also down to earth and truly a blessing to her consumers. Treat her wonderfully. Can't wait to return for my next cookie cake.

Let me just tell you... if you are having a bad day go see Ms. Lawanda downstairs at the mall. She is such a blessing and will surely put a smile on your face like she did mine. So nice to find friendly people these days! Hope yall keep her around! -Stacey
