Very rude kitchen people closed 15 minutes before they’re posted time and refused to take it to go order. The kitchen lady was rude to the other staff hollering. The grill was closed. this place is going downhill very fast and a couple of months will not be coming back.

This jewel's flavors are dependable, tasting the same homemade taste each time I've gone there. Everything I've eaten from the menu has been good, without being salty or too spicy. I usually get the pulled beef BBQ sandwich, with sides of coleslaw and potato salad, the vegetable soup and two jalapeño corn muffins. I can never eat it all so there's always leftovers that I eat the next day. I have absolutely no complaints about the food--only the parking lot. I believe they make enough money to have it paved--please! Happy eating!

It used to be one of the best barbecues around but nowadays it just feels like the waitresses don't pay attention and when you get your plate of food you have to always ask for extra red sauce which is the barbecue sauce to meet is cooked in otherwise if you don't your food comes out dry. And especially if you're ordering it to go make sure you order the sauce otherwise you're out of luck and it does not have the flavor it should

Great mom and pop BBQ spot. Food was delectable, and plenty of it! It was not too busy on theTuesday that I went.

It has the same last name as mine, so I had to check it out. We'll worth the travel time to it. I will be visiting again soon.

Big gummy dinosaur sized wings nothing crispy about it pretty upset I waisted $13 on this couldn’t even finish it not enjoyable

Look I lived in douglasville for 2 years and finally decided to see what the world was going on at this spot well guess what absolutely nothing. I purchased the sliced smoked chicken and there was nothing smoked about it the fried and everything is just cooked no season no salt just cook and served. Than the sweet tea was really a light sweet tea and I saw people ordering it by the cups. Man I can make better food than this save them 20$

The food was absolutely delicious, I've been going for the past 6 years. It's been an amazing place to eat with my family, it has a homey atmosphere and it was well priced. The BBQ tasted really good last time I got it (I got the pork plate in specific) the drinks were a little pricey but for the experience, service, and relaxed vibe I don't mind at all and enjoyed it.

I have been going to Hudson’s from my early teens. I’ve always love their fries in Brunswick stew and pretty much everything but my last visit this week Was not what I was used to. The stew seems to have changed. The fries were not the same. Not sure what I think about it yet.

Been wanting to try this place out since I moved to Douglasville. There always seems to be plenty of cars in the parking lot so we took that as a sign that it's a good place to eat.
This past weekend we made a point to stop there and have dinner. I'm not sure why, but we were completely ignored. After watching three parties come in after us get served right away while we couldn't even get the guy serving people to acknowledge us. It's not like we were in a hard to see spot. The server came to the booth beside us several times but passed us by every time with not even so much as a nod. We will never know if the food is good.or not.
