This place has the best oxtails in America you will never find a better more flavor oxtail any other place. I’ve lived in Jersey/ Cali/ Texas/ North Carolina and I promise nothing is topping this platter 🙌🏾

NOT worth $16. Portions are so small and the cabbage was way too hard I could not eat it at all. Paid $16 for a small brown stew chicken just to be hungry. If you want bones instead of meat by all means waste your money. Or just drive up to Anneewakee to St. Bess where the quality and quantity is top tier. They were already closed in for the night. :(

Stop by Island spice on Lee road for the first time yesterday ordered a large jerk pork and they did not disappoint. The rice was cooked perfectly. The jerk pork was delicious. Portion size was amazing it’s good to find really good authentic flavored island food.

I stopped in for lunch and chose oxtail with coco bread. The oxtail was incredibly tender, with the meat falling right off the bone, but the gravy left much to be desired. It was lacking in flavor and richness. However, the rice and candied yams were excellent. The coco bread was light and delicious. The price was on the higher side; for nearly $30, I expected the gravy to be outstanding. The service was prompt and welcoming, and the restaurant maintained a clean environment.

I can't believe how old the food was. Everything had to have been made the day before or even older. I spent $30 for one dinner plate and an extra side of Mac and cheese. Everything was gross. I will never go back

The service was quite average, and I was let down by the portion size, temperature of the food, and its presentation for a $30 meal. While the food was decent, it was somewhat dried out. Overall, I left feeling disappointed.

I recently dined at Island Spice and experienced mediocre service. My husband's jerk chicken was satisfactory, but I was disappointed with my boiled ribs, which I specifically requested without sauce, only to discover they were sauced and excessively salty upon arriving home. Furthermore, I witnessed a concerning incident where a young man walkef behind the counter from outside dropped two cups, picked one up, and returned 🤔one back to the stack while conversing with a female worker.

The wings are very nasty in flavor taste like chicken no hot sauce and the flavor is just pepper with salt got two 10 piece wings with fries paid almost 36 never again i would eat here would not recommend this place .

Customer service suck no communication no eye contact or anything. For the prices they are asking for they should have better customer service. That was my question to walk and give business elsewhere.

I ordered a delivery order from Uber Eats. I spent $60 on an oxtail plate and a curry chicken plate. The curry was on point; very flavorful, and the portion size was great. The oxtail was mainly bones with very little meat and very sweet, so I was a little disappointed. The portion size was large, but, as I said, the oxtail pieces were finger-size small. Other than that, it was okay. I definitely wouldn't order the oxtail again, but I would order the curry.
