This place isn't that good. I was disappointed because I haven't found any nice soul food places in Douglasville. My fried chicken was overcooked, yams nasty, cornbread tasted like it was missing an ingredient and kind of expensive for only 2 pieces of chicken that I didn't get to choose ($5 to substitute).

Chef Samantha is guaranteed to see us at least once a week! We are always greeted with warmth and great customer service. We've tried most items on the menu. What we love most is that the sides are not just sides but they have the flavor profile to stand alone if desired. We don't have a personal favorite, as they are all delicious, but our toddler absolutely loves the mashed potato's and gravy and could probably eat an entire large by herself! The team at Get'cha Right absolutely LOVES Just Like Mama's and we will tell anyone who will listen. Finding flavorful soul food that taste like Mama's is hard nowadays but not here!

I’m totally disappointed !! I paid 25 for a plate I couldn’t even eat this.. meatloaf was tough mashed potatoes no n I couldn’t even believe this the macaroni was like this.. smh we gotta do better.

I love my people but what I don’t like is false advertising. My husband and I came to this place based on what we saw on Instagram. The food looked so good. When we arrived, we decided we were going to take our food to go. There was a young girl at the register that was not welcoming at all. It was very weird. The total for one meal alone came up to $27 which to me made no sense but being that we came to support the business and we’re already there we just paid it. We were very very disappointed. The mac & cheese looked nothing like what we saw on their page like they didn’t feel like making it that day. I ordered Whiting and it was OK. The food tasted like they did not feel like cooking. One of the ladies in the kitchen was very sweet, but other than that, I don’t think we’re gonna come back

Me and my husband enjoyed brunch here this weekend. I have to say that I had thee best pancakes that I've ever had in my life from here. OMG! Y'all please go try um...you won't regret it. I had them with fried chicken wings...it was heavenly 😋
Really Enjoyed our dinner this evening. Real Southern Cooking. Generational Recipes of Deliciousness!! The Owner was very pleasant and helpful. Our lil Miss Waitress did an awesome job helping me choose my meal. Thank you 😊

Food was cold, & yams were old & slimy. The flavor of the rest of the food was ok but the main issue was the temperature of the food! I ordered rice, oxtails, cabbage, & yams and everything tasted ok except for the yams…tasted like left overs but all of the food was cold! The waiter was nice and the atmosphere is ok, I had a great feeling about this restaurant when I arrived but I left with dissatisfaction! The owner told me my food was under a “hot bar” & I’m not calling her a lie, all I know is I waited about 15 mins just to get a cold plate of food! So I asked for a to-go container because I believe in being fair with ppl, I’m going to go home & heat this food up & try again! For $51 bucks at least serve hot food and make fresh yams….because contrary to popular opinion that food was not “Just Like Mamas”

I went to Just like Mama’s and when I say everyone was nice and welcoming. I even met the owner, Samantha and she was so nice. She cooks all the food and the food….. Chefs kiss. I would suggest anyone not wanting to cook for the holidays, use her as your caterer.
