I had the Chicken wings dinner with Cabbage, mac and cheese and candy yams. Every thing was delicious. Freshly cooked, well seasoned. The Cabbage, in my opinion, was cooked to perfection. Not soggy, a little crunchy to it. Well seasoned, not alot of ppers and onions. Delicious. Corn bread was just right. Peach Mango Kool Aid was delicious. Not to sweet. Just right. Truthfully everything was cooked Just Like Mamas.

The food was absolutely delicious, the owner came out of the kitchen and had a conversation with us. We consider her a friend now....her staff which consisted of her delightful ,well mannered and professional children did not disappoint. We ordered a cake for Thanksgiving and the people at the dinner ate that cake faster than any other desert....thanks and we will be back soon

I gotta say I really enjoyed this place from the service to the food. There was a mixup with the address provided by door dash vs their current address. Also, when paying thru door dash (online order), it sent the payment to a different merchant. The owner/staff helped me get it sorted and get my take out order quickly. I ordered the pork bbq ribs, Mac and cheese, Lima beans, and rice and gravy. The ribs were super tender and well seasoned. I would’ve preferred a little more gravy on my rice but otherwise everything was delicious. I’ll definitely be returning as the name rings true which is rare in this area!
