Called at noon to see if they had turkey and dressing, she said they did, I said I would be out there. I left church in Decatur and got there around 12:50, the door was locked. I called again because there were people inside, I was told they couldn't open til the owner gets there, it's almost 1pm by now. He said she should be there in about a half an hour, I waited til about1:30 and left. For me that was inexcusable, I didn't get a sorry for the inconvenience, plus there doesn't appear any delegation in the restaurant.

Unfortunately this ain't nothing like my mama or anybody else mama from the south is ever cooked. The collard greens taste very much so canned and I can't even describe the taste of the cabbage, I was not able to eat it. The meatloaf was pretty good as was the cornbread. the people there were very friendly. I do however wish them the best of luck with your business. I unfortunately did not care for the food at all.

I went here for the first time today . I ordered oxtails , cornbread dressing and collard greens . It was the worst food I ever tasted . The greens were edible. The dressing was very very dry and taste like a lump of sage . The oxtails were horrible . They were not fork tender and tasted like nothing but salt . I let the server know and she sent over the manager. The manager was rude and said to me there was nothing wrong with my food because she just ate the same thing . And they don’t give refunds . So I ended up having to pay $18 of the $34 cost for food I didn’t even eat . The place being empty should have been my first red flag . I will never patronize this place again . Save your money you’re better off going anywhere but here .

I eat at Just Like Mama’s at least once a week, and it never disappoints! The food and service are always immaculate—fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine care. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. The location is super convenient too, which makes it even easier to keep coming back. OMG!!! This place is definitely the SPOT! When I found out that I had a homegirl from Florence SC (I’m from Georgetown) cooking! I had to come and check her out. And Boy let me tell you something….This food was delicious! It’s been a lonnngg time coming to have finally found a restaurant that knows what they are doing here in douglasville. I had Bbq neckbones 😋 it’s definitely a “just my mama’s vibe “ I WILL BE BACK/4sho Ps…I can’t forget the entire staff was so friendly/nice. The cute young lady taking my order was very communicative 🙂 And I had the pleasure of having a nice conversation with the owner and her daughter! Check them out! You won’t be disappointed!!!

HUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNY! When I tell you. I love this family...and the restaurant is a bonus. When my party walked in we were greeted with smiles and kindness (owners). Once seated, the owner came over and struck up a conversation like we were all old college friends that haven't missed a beat. They were so nice and sincere (not knowing we had just came from a funeral service for a close friend).
While we were looking at the menu...we got so excited, or should I say I got so excited I didn't know what to order (they have an a la carte portion on the menu). I ordered the turkey wing (fall off the bone), savory dressing, cabbage steamed to perfection and succulent yams w/melt in your mouth cornbread...make you wanna slap somebody's momma or maybe a polite nudge. I ordered the neck bones (that are as meaty as ribs), grilled veggies and mama's special rice to go. And that wasn't even my most favoritestessst (its a word, est 2025, by me) thing on the menu. They have KOOL-AIDE! OHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYY GAWWWWWWD! It literally took me 5hrs to pick which flavor I wanted...no joke😃.
I just wanna say thank you for the wonderful service and supa awesome food. I will be back...maybe as early as Sunday dinner with the fam.
