Kuumba Coffee

Kuumba Coffee in Douglasville is a gem! I ordered the Peach Cobbler Latte and the Turkey Avocado Breakfast Sandwich, both were absolutely delicious and made fresh. My husband had the Iced Ginger Lemon Tea along with the same sandwich, and he loved it just as much as I did.

The service was great, friendly, and welcoming. The staff made our visit extra special with their warm hospitality. Will definitely be back soon. ♥️

Atmosphere is excellent, quiet place to sit or join in quiet conversation. Coffee is excellent, as was the pastry I had. Service was not particularly welcoming. Certainly not hostile, but not warm either. Maybe because I was the only old white guy. But I didn’t sense the staff treating others differently. Still worth another visit.

**UPDATE** in response to your reply, I attached a picture of your menu that shows the waffles with fruit. It was the Daily Special.

I wanted to try their coffee and ordered a waffle along with it. The coffee was ok but I was surprised about the waffle. It seemed like a frozen waffle it did not taste fresh at all. They just added fruits and the waffle was pretty hard. Being that it’s a small business I would think they would emphasize more on the quality of their food. Also the service was very dry. I also purchased a book which was ok and not really worth the money spent. Overall I would not be coming back.

Every time I come in it’s a friendly family environment welcoming and genuine. A great place to study, do work, write or just chill and sip some great coffee options. Will recommend 10/10 EVERY TIME!!! Even had my very first shot of espresso here.

THE BEST coffee & lunch spot!! The food is always phenomenal! The chicken salad is amazing and a personal favorite, but the specials are also mind blowingly good —you literally can’t choose wrong. The people are so kind and the vibe is exactly what you’re looking for. Best little hidden-ish spot.

They have unique coffee flavors and every one I’ve tried is SO GOOD. Of the food I’ve only tried the avocado toast but it’s very good. The service is always great, friendly staff. Super cute atmosphere great for studying or book club meetups

Kuumba is ALWAYS GOOD!! The food, coffees, lemonades, the VIBE, is ALWAYS amazing. You can read, do work work, school work or just hang with friends or family at Kuumba. People just go to Starbucks because it's familiar and/ or they don't know about Kuumba. But I GUARANTEE you, once you go to Kuumba you'll put Starbucks to bed and that's a fact. Give them a try and tell them I sent you!

Loved this adorable small business in downtown Douglasville. I had the avocado toast and an iced coffee. My friend and I both had allergies/dietary restrictions and they were very accommodating, double checking ingredients for us and customizing our food for us to meet our needs. Will definitely be coming again!

Best Flat White I’ve had in a long time. Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Friendly courteous service. Plus get to watch trains go by while enjoying the delicious food and beverage. This place is a hidden little gem.
