Too expensive for a slice of pizza in New York when you buy slices like buying a pie
Something about the pizza tasted sour š¤¢š¤®. I donāt know if it was bad cheese , bad meat, or what but sooooo disgusting omg. Donāt order from this location

I'm unsure how two of my orders have been messed up and severely late.
Order #1. Missing an entire Pizza and 2L
Order #2. I ordered 1.5 hours ahead of time for 6:15 pm, but it's 6:48 pm, and it is still not here

Employee on prep line making pizza without gloves andI brought to management he said itās not necessary because the pizza will go in the oven at 400 degrees so it will kill all the germs.. I told him it was unsanitary and he said I have be making pizza for 4 years.

I order frequently from your chapel Hill and morning Star locations. I have a personal and corporate account when i buy lunch for my employees. Lately it has always been something at your Chapel Hill location, a couple months ago i ordered soda with my pizza and the delivery got forgot it⦠said he would bring it back and never did. A couple weeks later i ordered pizza and wings and my pizza had shifted to the side as if it was smashed or dropped and my wings were cold. As i tracked my order via the app my delivery time kept changing the driver apologized and told me they added deliveries as he was leaving. This last time i ordered Iām pretty sure i had someone else order and they had mines. I called in and they confirmed i had someone else order. I asked if i can get the correct order sent and they told me it would be a while before they could get it out. I asked for a manager and they put me on holdā¦ā¦came back and said they manager wasnāt available but they can assist. I told them if they couldnāt get my correct pizza that i paid for out to feed my family i wanted a refund. The gentleman put me on holdā¦. Came back again and apologized and told me i would have to speak to the manager⦠and before i order online call in and ask for the manager. Today 10-5 i called and asked for a manager and after i was drilled on why i wanted to speak to a manager a young lady finally came on the phone very dryā How can I help you ā. I explained my dilemma and she told me she didnāt see any notes so there was nothing she could do. I told her i KNEW this was going to happen and i was upset because my last 3 experiences there was a problem. She put me on hole and came back and said she see no notes so she couldnāt do anything. When i asked for the corporate number she told me unfortunately⦠they wer franchised and i was speaking to her⦠Makaylaā¦( so i assume she is the owner). I have always eaten Marcos for about 15 years and never experienced service as bad as my last three visits to your chapel hill location. And Makayla as an owner, you need to understand when there is a mess up⦠you try to make it right. My money was spent⦠and in my eyes wasted. I wouldnāt have left a review because i know things happen⦠but i didnāt like the way you handled it. I also work in customer service so I understand there may instances where the customer is not rightā¦.. but i feel as a owner Malayaā¦. Instead of being rude⦠and brushing me offā¦. You should have tried to make it right.

While the food was good, customer service was lacking. I'm disabled and it's hard to get in and out so we chose curbside. They refused curbside saying they didn't offer that option even though the online ordering said they did and even said it on the receipt. That's one reason we decided to get dinner here because of curbside. Even when I told the person who answered the phone the reason we needed curbside and that the online ordering offered it and confirmed it would be curbside he just said "oh well we don't do that".

Manager Mckaleigh prejudged me & admitted it instead of listening to the words that were coming out of my mouth!
After 8+ years of patronizing this store, I will no longer be a customer here as long as she and Alison are the managers!
I requested a lightly baked pizza as I have been doing since Iāve been visiting this location. Over the phone, I told Mckaleigh that sometimes they skimp me on the ground beef. I let her know that sometimes there are literally 2-3 pieces of meat on a slice. I asked her to make sure they made it correctly. Her response was āif you want more meat, then Iāll have to charge you extra.ā I responded by saying āthatās not what I asked forā, and then restated my ask. Long story short, she got nasty. When I arrived at the store, I looked at my pizza and it wasnāt lightly baked, nor was the meat evenly distributed. She took the pizzas, & slammed them in the trash. The new pizzas came out the same way.
I called in the next day looking for the store manager, only to learn from Mckaleigh that her store manager Alison was standing there the day of my visit, and watched the entire interaction. Never once did she intervene.
During this call, Mckaleigh asked if she could assist me. I told her not really since the complaint was against her, instead I requested to speak to the Area Manager. Mckaleigh said I would receive a call from Michelle (area manager). A few minutes after our call, I received a call back from Mckaleigh as she wanted to try and get in front of the situation before I took it higher. She admitted to prejudging me as a customer that wanted more meat for free rather than actually listening. She also admitted to being frustrated which is why she threw pizzas in the trash rather than giving them to me as a curtesy since my order was messed up, and I had to wait for new pizzas. I let her know that I have been a customer for 8+ years, and typically bypass closer locations to come here weekly ā¦sometimes more than once a week. I also informed her that I had just visited this location twice the prior week. She did not care!
It has been 2 weeks, and I still have not received a back from the area manager.

The drivers are usually polite and friendly, and the food is always hot and delicious. On the last two occasions, I had inadequate service. The last time the young lady forgot my two beverages, she said her manager was rushing her. She asked if I wanted her to bring them back later... I told her no because the pizza was already here.
Another time, it took about 1 hour twenty minutes for delivery. When I called the young gentleman answering the phone, he informed me that my pizza had just left. Which was over an hour after I placed order
