Man, what a night. Me and my lady went in a date night and chose this spot in Douglasville. We were greeted and seated, ordered our drinks and grub in decent time…

Sipped my Mule and my Lady sipped her strawberry lemon drop and we vibed while the DJ ran through some awesome mixes and some the other patrons and servers were line dancing. It was a fun atmosphere and you could tell everyone that was there wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else.

The then food came out and we were pleasantly surprised at the amazing presentation and serving sizes. I ordered the $70 Jerk Tomahawk Steak with mixed veggies (squash spears) and mac & cheese and my lady got the $35 oxtails with rice & peas and mac & cheese. Steak was cooked medium rare like I asked and very flavorful, veggies were crisp and well seasoned, the mac & cheese just might be in the top 5 of best mac & cheese I’ve ever eaten and it’s my favorite food so I’ve had my fair share…The oxtails were good size, well seasoned, rice and peas were moist, and again the mac & cheese 🤌🏾

We spent nearly $200 after taxes and tip but it was well worth it. As foodies, eating in Atlanta can almost be a task some days. You pay a million bucks for mediocre food and service. Fortunately, that was NOT the case this particular evening and we will be back.

I have to start this review by complimenting the staff of this establishment. Everyone was polite, attentive and really went above and beyond to make sure that my Amazing companion and I felt at home. When I say we felt like family, that's what it was.

They took our order, engaged in conversation, gave advice and kept us laughing while never letting our glasses run dry. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken with cabbage and plantains. The chicken was great, I expected a little more heat but I was happy with it. The cabbage was wonderful but the plantains exceeded my expectations tremendously, they were cooked to perfection!

We had a few mixed drinks and they were good. When I was asked if I liked the drink, I simply stated that it could be stronger and the bartender returned with a sampled that was as I desired.

The atmosphere was great and the music was good. I don't eat a lot but I "miraculously" consumed my entire entrée at Miracle Lounge Restaurant. The young lady says I need to put some meat on my bones, so I'm putting in the effort, but I was going to eat it all anyway. It was just that good.

The top is added in but I dropped some extra in there. They earned it. 💯

Would I recommend going there? ABSOLUTELY!!!
Will I be going back? ABSOLUTELY!!!!
Will the young lady that accompanied me be coming back with me? I ABSOLUTELY HOPE SO!

Take some time pay them a visit. Meet the owner, the chef, the bartender, the waitresses, the General Manager, trust me they'll treat you like family. They care about their customers and it shows. I hope to see them do great things in the future like opening a location down the street from me, in Alabama.

I proposed to my beautiful now fiance today and Brittany from Miracle Lounge downtown Douglasville graciously took a few photos of us both outside and inside the restaurant. Come see Brittany she's amazing.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. We also were made aware of the specials for the day, which I appreciated. The music was really nice and not too loud. Brittney doubled as the bartender and our server. The lemon drops were good. My friend preferred a stronger drink, so she acommodated. I had the jerk lamb chops, garlic mashed potatoes and spinach. The GM asked me to taste the mashed potatoes as she believed they were not seasoned well. I tasted them and they were not, so she brought some that were very hot and seasoned better. I'm glad that this issue was caught and rectified. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I will go back and try some other items of interest on the menu.

Food, Atmosphere, service, and prices.. i love everything about this place. It screams authenticity. 2nd time here and it has not disappointed me. I will be back, especially on a Saturday to enjoy the ladies night vibes. 5 stars all the way around.

My experience was amazing! The food was great, the DJ was on point and my server Emily was so professional and greeted us with a smile and gave us a warm welcome to this new restaurant. Will definitely be back soon!
