Can't say enough about it.

I'd typically go into an Italian restaurant and order the items that no Italian Restaurant should ever get wrong, like a scampi, Alfredo, marinara, spaghetti, lasagna... and always the calamari.

Well, I didn't this time. I did order the calamari and very much so enjoyed it. I also accidentally ordered the stuffed mushrooms (I asked about it, but didn't actually order it) -- it arrived and I kept it -- but they could have kept those (it was watery and flavorless).

I even tried the fries... just because and they did not disappoint.

The salad was nice although I was anticipating Romaine leaves instead of in iceberg. I didn't touch the chickpeas or the beets😂 but it was colorful like I like my salads. The bread/rolls were tasty. The Shrimp Oreganata was AMAZING! As was the side of sauteed spinach along with a side of fettuccine alfredo. All of it was just yummy to my soul.

Service = top tier. Services is actually why I dine out. I can cook - I just chose to be served. I ask for recommendations and tend to take them into account when ordering. So I can truly appreciate Sam & Rosco's efforts in this area. I had 2 servers give me great menu recommendations. And I always love it when emptying plates aren't piling up in front of me - they did an excellent job of that too.

I'll definitely be back to try a wider variety of menu selections!! But my first time here out of all the decades I've driven right by - WOW‌ MAGNIFICA‌

What a disappointment. I read a lot of good reviews so was looking forward to having some good Italian food. The interior was nice, though outdated. Racetrac has better bathrooms. The bread and salad were delicious, but our dinners were subpar, especially considering the prices. I ordered eggplant Parmesan which was mostly breading, canned sauce, and a thick layer of cheese. The eggplant slices were so thin they were indistinguishable from everything else. My husband paid over $40 for a filet mignon with so-called red wine sauce that tasted suspiciously like A-1 steak sauce...the best sauce to ruin a steak. Our daughter ordered the picata that she picked at but didn't eat much because the pasta was drowning in way too much lemon sauce. The cheesecake that was supposed to have chocolate sauce was actually ripped with Hershey's syrup. Sadly, we will not go back.

Let’s just say it started bad, the middle was bad, and the end was bad. We ordered the Chianti. It was undrinkable. The wine had gone sour. The bottle had undoubtedly been open for multiple days. The garlic bread definitely came frozen out of a bag. Neither my fiancĂ© nor I could finish our entrees. It was overcooked mush. HER’S HAD A HAIR IN IT!!! The tirmasu HAD NO COFFEE. That’s one of the main ingredients in tiramisu. It also had Hershey’s chocolate on top. If you have any sense of self worth you won’t spend your money at this establishment. I promise you, you can do better at home.

The complementary rolls and salad were amazing! We ordered four different entrĂ©es – the shrimp scampi pasta being our favorite! The pasta primavera, the tri-color tortellini, and the chicken marsala were all wonderful, don’t get me wrong, but the shrimp scampi was simply to die for. I couldn’t recommend it stronger!! All 4 entrees included in image :)

Mother’s Day lunch was great. The waitress & staff were so attentive and accommodating. Food was real good. I plan to go back one day.

I ordered shrimp scampi and found it to be tasteless. Why would I think I could enjoy a proper shrimp scampi from this proper Italian restaurant? Atmosphere is lovely, service was lovely, but the main entree lacked flavor.
