THIS IS THE 4th time coming here and they are closed but on the door and the website it says open! This is not how “Chicago folk” handle business!! The food is good but who wants to drive 20 minutes on a blank mission!
We have visited this place several times and we would always order a Italian beef sandwich and request that it be piping Hot ,and they would always deliver the sandwich would be delicious. Today we were so disappointed. The fries were very hot and the sandwich was cold. I went back and told the guy at the counter and he says I see the steam coming off the sandwich. I guess he was being smart. He took the food back with a attitude and remade it,and it was worse. They didn't even dip the sandwich. We have been waiting on Sharberrys to reopen only to be highly disappointed. Good Hot food is the key to continual customer support.

I traveled all the way from Chicago to Douglas, Georgia to experience “Chicago in Atlanta,” and Sharberry’s Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and made with love. My cousin’s hospitality was overwhelming in the best way — warm, genuine, and unforgettable. I’m so glad I made the stop to visit and support her. If you come, come hungry, because the food will not disappoint. Highly recommend!❤️🥰

From the moment I walked into Sharberry Restaurant, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere felt like home — warm, welcoming, and filled with love and laughter. The owners are truly amazing people who treat every guest like family. You can tell they put their heart and soul into every dish they serve.
The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and made with care. Every bite tasted homemade and comforting, just like a family Sunday dinner. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, genuine hospitality, and a heartfelt experience all in one, but Sharberry Restaurant does exactly that.
If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! This is more than a restaurant — it’s a place where love is served on every plate. ❤️

Can’t believe this place has been here for seven years. We were actually referred here by a friend. It’s my new wing spot. Finally a place that can get my fave “honey hot” right. Got that split with lemon pepper and they too were on point. Crispy , tasty & fries were good too. Reasonable priced, and good customer service. Nice young man at the counter. Plan to come back and try other items off the menu.

I am very thorough when it comes to my food and reviews. I ordered from UberEats and I received what I thought was going to be good. The fish wasn’t fresh .That’s an easy fix. You could go to the international market and buy fresh fish. My cornbread was burnt. The greens came from a can, so did the yams. Thankfully, the macaroni and cheese was made fresh. The banana pudding cake was soggy, and the cake is mediocre. I love patronizing minority own business only But this was a disappointment.

On Sunday, August 2, I did not feel like cooking so I went up to Sharberrys and I ordered pork chops, collard greens, rice and gravy, my favorite cookies and some uncles fruit punch when I tell you those pork chops were so good. It took me all the way back to 9430 Saint Lawrence in Chicago where my grandmother used to fry pork chops. Keep up the good work. I will always support your restaurant because you remind me of Home.

I walked in on a Sunday evening around 6:45pm. We waited for a minute and then a nice lady greeted us. As we were talking to her, she informed us that she was the owner. She told us about Soul Food Sundays. The menu was very nice. The meals came with two sides. I ordered the catfish which I got two pieces. The owner asked me how would I like it cooked. I told her exactly the way I wanted it fried. The two sides that I got were yams and collard greens. Once I got home and tasted the food, I know it was a piece of heaven. My grandma from heaven smiled at me and said that food is good and you better eat it all. I did exactly that. I ate it all. I will be going back for the Chicago food as well.

Found this spot from a simple Google search. Had the chance to speak with the owners and she was amazing! Ms. Sharberry herself explained the Soulfood Sunday menu to us and even told us about some of the local events in the city. Food was even better than she hyped up!! I had the smothered chicken and it was amazing! Will most certainly be returning to try more items and check out the rest of the menu!
