The cashier had a very nasty attitude and should not be the first person that you meet. I walked in she was on the phone taking a order and after hanging up said ughhh these people! What does that mean? Took my order and was rude as hell about what they were out of totally unnecessary, maybe they were having a bad day not sure but definitely shouldn't be at the register. I wouldn't recommend, the food was so so and I definitely won't be back!!!

Oxtail, rice and pea, and Mac and cheese was sooo good! The oxtails and gravy were plentiful which was necessary because it was pricey. Wish they had the manish water, festival and soursop. Will be back!

I love this place. The atmosphere is beautiful. The music gets you in the mood. The ladies were very pleasant and sweet as pie. And the food OMG I had to pull over cause it was so darn good. I ate in the car. The feels, top tier. ❤️?️

Hit or miss. They do have bbq on Saturdays which makes for a better experience. When done right their jerk chicken is delicious
I've been here before but I didn't remember if my food was good or bad so I decided to try them again. I will say that I'm not sure why I didn't remember because my food was good. I got myself a brown stew chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. The cabbage was really good, and so was my coco bread. It's a super small place but they are churning out good food. I'm glad I decided to give them another try.

My daughter brought me the oxtail plate for my birthday. I came back today to get another plate. I brought my husband the oxtail plate and I got the curry chicken bowl….so good!!This is the best Jamaican food I’ve had since I stayed in Ga.

Amazing people. Super kind and food is always seasoned well ( they not stingy or mean when you want extra gravy either) and consistent. My favorite soup is served On Friday only. Jerk chicken and curry chicken is my favorite but everything is good to me. They have great bread pudding as well- not too sweet and tastes good with hot tea… I had to add to my review after reading a negative comment- Guys, let’s be mindful to uphold and encourage our community businesses that try hard to provide exceptional services and goods/foods. St. Bess over the years has made changes/upgrades to the restaurant/menu and added accommodations just for the customers. St. Bess is so much like family and I don’t even have to go inside and still feel the love from them as a patron. My daughter will literally go get my food or on Friday go get my soup, and they will have it ready for me without her asking, or sometimes, I have even called knowing I’m getting off late, and they have saved me some with no problem! This type of service is hard to come by. I love this place and will continue to support them. No business is perfect and everyone will have a bad day once in a while. Let’s be a voice of cheer and encouragement/support when writing these reviews and if anything happens that you are not fond of during your visit, address it in the building and see how it’s handled first before you reach out to the whole internet with a bad review. Most times, the situation is not deserving of such an attitude. Thank you St. Bess. I am half Puerto Rican and Geechee from SC and have Jamaican family and kid- my palate is well informed of good tasting food cooked with soul and great spirit and this place has that. Now go get a plate. And to anyone who has experienced anything less than 5 stars, I encourage you to try them once more. God Bless you All.
