It is very sad that all the ingredients are of a high quality, however the attention to detail was terrible on all of the burgers in this $50+ dollar order. It would only take another minute on the grill to get the sear on the patties that used to be the draw to steak and shake vs mcdonalds or other bottom tier fast food chains.
The sauce quantity was double what should have been used, and everything was cold, even frys. They didnt include the 3 PC Chicken Fingers , luckily this was caught before driving away, but the staff was argumentative and rude when asking for them, but they did give them to my wife. Luckally we have an airfryer and were able to rework what we recieved to be quite good, but wont pay $55 dollars again at this store to cook my own food when we get home.
If I wanted Mcdonalds quailty food, i would have gone there and paid half the cost per burger, and possibly had better quality food.
Ultimately management appears to not be training, or there is no quality control that this place has as shown by the lack of attention to detail. I really wish someone would step up and have pride in their work so that this establishment could be successful, because small changes in management could fix this store and have happy customers vs what is seemingly falling on deaf ears with the plethora of negative reviews on here. very sad, as we used to love steak and shake. Owner, get your opperation in order, you have lord of the flys going on in your investment.

The woman at the drive through rushed me through the drive thru and told me there was a one minute grace period to order. I could not pull out of line so I just ordered. Then was rushed when checking to make sure my order was right. If you’re gonna make these rules, make your drive thru big enough for people to leave when you’re rude to them

PLACE needs to have a FULL MAKE OVER..its DIRTY..the seats have HOLES..SLITS..it smells like old mothballs body odor ..just FUNKEY!!..The food: in order to TASTE the "beef tallow oil" you should have a bigger fry..SHOESTRING FRIES ARE NOT IT..thinner than the ones brought in the GROCERY STORE..!! 2 I never KNEW A SMASH BURGER could have burger crispies on the ends..AND Is the BURGER 100 %Beef and NOT left over parts.. SURE TASTED PORKEY..not to mention the bread was kinda stale..WARM FOOD....Only adverse effect was belly swelling from GAS..SO SORRY I went for the FRIES..will order BEEF TALLOW OFF AMAZON..cook my OWN..NASTY

Corporate should be made aware of their employees being ill responsible at this location. Just stopped into a crowded dinning room and drive though. I got my food, but 5 mins later, people are leaving, drive thru shut down. Sad but as I eat, I saw 15-20 drive though customers turned away! Why? no clue, but did see 2 employees set up their phone in the back of the building for a selfie, and start dancing! True story. it now 7pm ...and Steak and Shake is losing hundreds of dollars in business!

Service was horrible it took over 5 min for someone to even say hi to take the order there was no one else in line and then in the middle of taking the order the girl says hold on we thought she was having tech issues but when we got to the windows she was just on her phone the entire time. She came to the windows on the phone took the payment while she was on the phone it was ridiculous the food was thrown together and greasy. I used to love steak and shake it was not clean the service was horrible the drinks were watered down and thebfood was horrible

I was in line at the drive through no problem I get to the window and pat for I thing,a shake,,and the so called cashier got on her phone,then she started Dancing around and goin back and forth,then 15 minutes later I get my shake and it's melted ,,and she laughed when I said something,,needless to say myself and others I know will not be going there again

They placed the most anemic pieces of bacon on my burger. Literally 3 tiny pieces that looked like someone took one fully piece of bacon and cut it up into 3 pieces...
1 piece of bacon cut up isn't worth like $1.50 extra to my burger

I got the worst food poisoning in my life from this location. It was so bad I thought I was going to die. I've eaten at this chain for over 20 years, but after my experience her I will go no more. The worst part is knowing it cand from some disgusting person that couldn't wash their hands. I literally ate fecal matter at Steak&Shake.

Came to order a burger and a shake and they said they were not serving shakes because too many orders ahead of me ordered shakes so they decided they aren’t selling them because they take too long to make complete bs don’t waste your time here

I would give the restaurant a 1 overall but the food was actually decent. The service and attitude from Alexis was horrible. The greeting was not friendly. Her facial expression was as if we were getting on her nerves because we dined in. I carefully placed two tables together and she commented not to put the tables together it scratches the floor but how do they move to clean underneath? I also recommend itemized receipts bc she forgot orders and questioned us as if we didn’t order what we were asking for which were sodas. Maybe Alexis should work in BOH and not cashier/greeter.
