Friendly Gus Travel Center & Truck Stop

Nice big place to park, mostly free parking which is nice. The chicken inside tasted good considering it was hard and old. The sides didn't look very appealing.

Ok truck stop but watch out for a lady cashier she sitting down working and if you make her get up for a receipt or something she bucks her teeth and gets bother ,just don't make her move too much

Gas station is called friendly gus yet none of the employees are friendly. Not even close. All 3 of them working had a total lack of care. ID even say they were rude. Also the girl serving food robbed me on the chicken fingers. The food itself was decent but the rude staff and expensive price made it a terrible experience. Disappointed

Stopped by there today for the first time to use the restroom and grab some food for lunch. This Store is very clean and well kept. The restrooms were very clean and up to date. It has to be a newly built store.There's plenty of parking anywhere at this place. It's really roomy inside and out.The food is reasonably priced and the flavor was the best. I had the Salisbury Steak plate with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Mac and Cheese, Greens, and a piece of Cornbread. WOW, the Flavor was excellent ?. The Mac and Cheese were Cheesey out of this World, The Greens were Top Notch, The Salisbury Steak was Tender and Full of Flavor, and the Cornbread was the Best Cornbread I've ever had. Even better than my Wife's, Don't tell her that, tho.For Truck Stop Food, it was like dining in a 5 Star Restaurant.We were Very Satisfied with our time spent there and Yes, we will be telling everybody about our experience there.Thanks Friendly Gus, Keep Up the Amazing Work and We'll See You Guys Again Soon.

Certainly not friendly. This place should be called Unfriendly Gus. Rude, not speak at all last trip our 3rd time, same. Especially if you’re a white person. Yeah noticed the difference…Sad. We’ll take ourselves on down I-16 to another place for gas & food.
