Holy Smokes BBQ And Catering

I ordered around 4pm on a Friday the brisket plate.the hottest thing on the plate was the beans,brisket was cold frys wasn't hot.im not typically one to complain but I could have made the plate better myself

Portions are so small it's not worth spending the money. The brisket tasted ok but it was only a couple of bites for 16 bucks. I wish I could figure out how to post the picture of my plate. It's laughable.

Holy Smokes BBQ was absolutely worth the stop. The brisket was tender and full of flavor, and the ribs fell right off the bone. Sides were just as good, especially the mac and cheese. It’s got that no-frills, hometown feel where the food speaks for itself. Staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. If you're anywhere near East Dublin, this place is a must. Just good, honest barbecue done right.

Not one single thing I ordered from the window was correct except my very bitter brisket. The cornbread smelled like cold grease. The tea was good but that was 18.00 of poor execution in bbq. In total I've spent 500 in 3 trips and all in all Sonnys is better and thats straight sad.

Barbecue so good I'm mad about it. I've paid twice as much for brisket not half the caliber where I'm from.

It was great first time being there and in going back soon

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch date today on our travels to the VA for an appointment. It was our first time visiting Holy Smokes and we were greeted by a respectful young man when we arrived. We’ve eaten a lot of bbq over the years, and it takes some stellar Que to impress me…. This place has the goods! We tried some of the pork, brisket, chicken, and a few of the sides, everything we had was excellent. The brisket speaks for itself, I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but it’s top notch! Definitely will be making this a regular stop on future trips. Excellent customer service!

Holy Smokes is amazing!! I’m originally from TX and can honestly say, this is the best brisket I have ever had! I’m so glad to know I can get it within 45 minutes of where I live now. Oh, and the sides are amazing, too!

The service was excellent! We didn’t wait 5 minutes and our meal was ready!! Y’all the brisket was awesome and the bbq!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Edited fall 2024 to add 5th star. Since my original review it seems service adjustments have been made and I wanted my rating to reflect that. It’s always appreciated when business owners respond to feedback.

I’ve been in here 3 times and have ordered food twice.
The food is excellent. The brisket, ribs and chili are especially delicious and most likely the best in the area.
As far as service, it’s been good—for the most part.
The first and most recent time in here Mr Eric and the lady with the auburn hair were working, their customer service is excellent.
Unfortunately, the second time I was here it seemed nobody with any customer service experience was on the clock. 4 people were in the lobby area—1 girl sweeping, a guy with facial hair AT the register, and a girl and guy staring through the kitchen window. Not a single one of them spoke when I walked up to the counter…they guy at the register didn’t even look at me and decided something in the back of the restaurant was more important than simply saying “someone will be with you” or “hello”.
I stood there for a good minute while the 2 people in the window continued to look at me without a word, the girl casually drinking her fountain beverage.
It was clear they didn’t want my business so I walked out.

I only came back on the off chance that somebody with some type of service acumen would be here, thankfully they were which is why I still rated 4 stars.

It would’ve been 5 had it not been for the blatant rudeness experienced the second time.

I'm a sales rep so I have to cater a lot of food... Needless to say I placed a relatively large order for 11:30 am and it was ready right on time. There were no issues and I got plenty of food. Always nice ordering and having 0 issues! Thank you team!
