Title: TheBest Steak in Middle Georgia? Only at Jack’s Catfish & Shrimp!Review: Alright, folks, buckle up because I’ve got a secret to spill that’s too good to keep. When you hear Jack’s Catfish & Shrimp, you might think, “Ah, another great spot for seafood in Middle Georgia,” and you wouldn't be wrong. But let me tell you, it’s their steak that’s the real MVP of Middle Georgia’s culinary scene. Now, I know what you’re thinking. “A seafood place that serves the best steak?” But trust me on this one. The first time I tried their steak, I was blown away. It was love at first bite. The steak at Jack’s Catfish & Shrimp is so tender, so perfectly seasoned, it’s like they’ve unlocked some secret steak-cooking level that the rest of us mere mortals can only dream of reaching. And sure, the catfish and shrimp are fantastic – they’ve got that down to a fine art. But the steak? It’s in a league of its own. Each bite is a juicy, flavorful journey that makes you look around and wonder, “Is everyone else tasting this?!”The vibe of the place is just as good. No frills, no fuss, just a focus on serving great food. It’s the kind of spot where you want to become a regular, not just for the food, but because the folks here make you feel like family. So, if you find yourself in Middle Georgia with a craving for an unforgettable meal, do yourself a favor and drop by Jack’s Catfish & Shrimp. Sure, get the seafood – it’s in the name, after all. But don’t you dare leave without trying the steak. You’ll be planning your next visit before you’ve even left the parking lot. Trust me, it’s that good.

Parking: My wife ordered the fried oysters. she said the oysters were prepared just right. I had the Mullet Plate, which was prepared just the way I like it. Our server was at our table within five minutes of being seated. We received our plates in ten minutes of ordering. Our server was attentive and eager to please.

Perfect place to stop and eat when you’re dropping off/picking up your deer from PO Boy’s. Fried pickles, ribeye, gator tail, hush puppies and cheese grits were all delicious. Will definitely be back.
The service was great. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be coming back!!!Wheelchair accessibility: The door is low so wheelchairs are easy to go in.
Nothing fancy, but the service & food was great. I'd choose Jack's over fancy anyway. I will be back!!

Was coming to Dublin for an overnight stay and came across Jack's searching online. It intrigued me and we decided to give it a shot. The drive to the restaurant was a bit concerning. We were not sure a decent restaurant was going to be on the other end.? It's flanked on one side by the river and the other side by a beautiful (yes, I said beautiful) swamp. The setting was actually quite perfect for the place. My husband loved that they brought a full pitcher of sweet tea and left it on the table. We were asked if we wanted any pickles and or onions. We assumed they meant fried until we saw a waitress walk by with a bowl of uncooked pickle chips and a bowl of raw onion rings and set them on a neighboring table. I had no idea that was a "thing"! I had a "Swamp Plate" that had gator, frog legs, cat fish and shrimp. My husband had the two quail platter which he enjoyed. My niece had the fried shrimp platter. It was all good. Their slaw is very different than any I've had, but was quite good. The service was wonderful! The most genuinely welcoming staff I may have ever encountered. So glad we took the ride out. This was a super fun experience. I'll be back to try that steak some time!

Passing through Dublin and decided to try Jacks. Arrived at 4:50 Saturday walked in sat down, ordered and had our food on the table 5 minutes later. Ordered small catfish fillet dinner. Food was hot and tasted good. The portion sizes were somewhat small (fish) for the price $12.99. Dinner was served on a divided plastic plate; hence the portion size. Very courteous staff. Area clean. Won’t make a special trip but would go back if in the area. Would recommend trying it.
