The food is good and a generous portion. Prices not so good. $51 for a large brown stew chicken plate, medium rice and peas, 1 beef Patty, and a medium plantain (which came in a small cup). It just doesn't add up to $51 dollars.
I'm not a big reviewer. And I've never had Caribbean food in my life. But I went here and ordered the oxtail and it was one of the best things I've EVER eaten! It was so incredibly tender and rich, fell right off the bone. I'm absolutely going to be back to order it again. The rice was also super flavorful and the mac and cheese was great too. The owners were very sweet and the food came out very quickly. HIGHLY recommend this place.
My partner and I usually stop in Dublin for the night (we're truck drivers). I've been seeing this restaurant in passing. I read the reviews. This place was great! We ordered the oxtail and stew chicken. When I took a bite of the stew chicken, I smiled. It reminded me of my favorite Caribbean restaurant back home that closed down. No place has ever came close to Rockers until today! Everything was amazing! The cabbage?? SOME OF THE BEST I'VE HAD FROM A CARIBBEAN...
