This is a really nice Soul Food restaurant tucked away in downtown Dublin. This was our first time eating there. I had smoked turkey wings with candy yams and squash.
The reason for the four is because it was late in the day and the food had been out all day. As a result, the turkey wings were a bit greasy. I give them a passing grade, though.

Soul food like our Grandparents use to make!
Fresh cooked vegetables no can food here!
Okra and tomatoes had me almost in tears! I haven't had any this good since my Mom passed.
My husband enjoyed his liver and onions!
Everyone was very friendly! It's like having a home cooked meal at your Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles!!
Definitely stopping here again when we are traveling this way!

I totally lucked out getting lost and finding this restaurant on a day they were open!!
I decided to pit stop in Dublin for lunch on way to Savannah. I drove by and saw the open sign was lit. I was intrigued this is a Soul Food Restaurant open since 1955.
This block of downtown has plenty of on street parking in front of the restaurant. I noticed a parking lot across the street. However, I'm not local and am unsure if you can park in the parking lot while visiting downtown.
I was debating between Chicken and Dumplings or Smothered Pork Chops as part of today's specials. I've recently cooked two pork dishes so I went with the Chicken and Dumplings.
As I was headed to Savannah and having seafood for dinner, I also passed on the Fried Fish on their menu.
There was a closed off buffet service area with entrees and sides. My entree came with two sides. My sides were a 5+ in taste! I had the Candied Yams that had a Citrus Burst in the flavor profile. I'm guessing Orange Juice is an ingredient. I also had Creamed Yellow Corn. All of this is home made!
The Chicken and Dumplings were a little salty for me. But I rarely cook with salt. They added 3 extra pieces of Baked Chicken to my plate. I had an ample amount of Dumplings served to me.
I also had the Corn Muffin but it was just OK.
For a beverage I went with Sweet Tea.
The owner stopped by and let me know his mom started the restaurant. His sister and niece were in the restaurant today.
It was really cozy and quiet enough to enjoy a conversation or meal alone.
I paid $16.20 for my meal.
I will definitely return!

I didn't eat here. I was doing door dash. But, from the looks of the food, and the people serving and the customers, this is a place I want my family to come to.

Homecooking all the way! The selections were great, and everything was served up with a smile. You go through a buffet line with servers. Picking out your selction is hard because there are so many choices.
A very friendly and conversationalist attendant came by our table frequently to make sure that we had everything we needed. And, refill our water glasses.
It was a very special time on that very hot afternoon and entering the cool room where Miller's Soul Food is doing their best to keep their diners happy.
Talk about a taste of home!!! I love my mom’s liver and onions and here at Miller’s Soul Food I was transported back to the days when my mom would cook and we’d have family dinner. Great food, the atmosphere was relaxing and they had the jams playing. Now I have another reason to come to Dublin besides going to the VA! Thank you guys for an awesome experience!!!

Fantastic southern food done right.
This is such a cute homey feeling spot. When I walked in, I was greeted, and all of the interactions were very gentle and kind. They don’t just let you sit in silence, they actually converse with you and the food sooo good. Very nostalgic. I love that. This is a family owned and family kept business. I will definitely be going back when they have mac & cheese lol
I loved the food! It was my first time here, I got the meatloaf, and it was out of this world! I will be coming back!
We are from Florida fleeing Hurricane Milton. We lost everything in Hurricane Helen a couple weeks ago. We found this incredible place and we were thrilled. Everything was homemade and delicious. The service and staff were more than friendly. We were treated like family walking in the door. It was just the break from the storms we needed. We will be stopping in every time we are in the area. Do not miss it. Thank You
