Had your catered lunch Saturday at a local Rotary meeting.
Loved the variety of the sandwiches. Lots of great choices and I didn’t forget the chicken wings! Delicious.
Homemade potato chips…excellent
Nice choices for dessert as well.
Great food served well!

I attended a Rotary event in Dublin, and Pickle Barrel catered. It was the first time I had heard of Pickle Barrel. Amazing food. I was really impressed. Little cheeseburger sliders, chicken salad sandwiches, salad. We need one in Valdosta!

I recently visited the Pickle Barrel in Vidalia, GA with a party of five (including a baby). Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. We waited about 35–45 minutes to be seated, and once we were, it took another 50 minutes for our food to arrive. The staff were very friendly, especially our server, but it was clear they were overworked and struggling to keep up—some attention to detail was missing.

I ordered the Islander wrap with a baked potato. The wrap was fine—nothing technically wrong with it—but it just wasn’t to my taste. The baked potato, however, was undercooked and almost cold.

They don’t have enough high chairs for more than two babies at a time, which could be a challenge for families. However, I did appreciate that their booster seats have straps, which helped make things work for our little one.

Overall, the food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t especially flavorful either. Nothing stood out enough to make me eager to return right away, but I might give it another shot in the future. Hopefully, they’ll have more staff and improved timing next time.

Updated on 6/29/25: These folks catered an amazing lunch for our district Rotary Club meeting of over 100 people in Dublin. We had a variety of tasty sandwiches, salads, kettle chips, desserts and freshly-brewed tea. Portions were generous, too! Staff were super friendly!

2023 Review: Enjoyed a Mediterranean flatbread with shredded chicken topping and small Greek salad for lunch at this grill outside of Dublin, GA. Food was very tasty but a bit pricey at $22 for lunch. My only minor complaint was the waitress could have been more attentive since they were not busy. Napkins were not on the table and should be easily accessible.

So I ordered a beer, they were out. So I ordered a different one, 10 minutes go by, our food came out. I asked where my beer was then the waitress went to check and it turns out they were out of it also. She never told me or anything without me asking. Th La for the great service. Don’t come here, it is not worth the stop.

This is always a fantastic place to eat, drink and have a good time. Trivia, Karaoke and music bingo are great fun and the service is always friendly and top notch!

Great food and good service. Get rid of the barrel tables outside. They are too tall for regular chairs, too short to be a hightop with good stools or chairs. Nobody likes them. Ask the hostes how often your regulars choose a short table given the option.
