Al DENTE 2 Duluth

My family and I had dinner at Al Denta, on 1/8/25 the parking lot had lots of parking and very lit unfortunately it was raining, the restaurant was very clean, really good music playing. The pizza was just okay, nothing to get excited over I was confused about the menu because they advertised sausage, but our waitress stated no sausage but curizo🤷🏼. Not really much to say about the service she brought us out pizza and drinks and that was it no questions about if we like it or not not much of any interaction. Would l give this place a second chance maybe just to see how the other food taste and possibly a different waitress.

Tried this place for the first time this passed Friday. Sadly, will not be returning. Paid $75 for a large pizza, A Cesar salad & an order of bacon & cheese fries. We got the salad and fries right away & the fries were great. We waited over 40 minutes for the pizza! By the time it arrived my kids and I were ready to go. Pizza is thin & horrible. I get this is their style of pizza but I’ve had better thin pizzas, the restaurant itself is nice and cute & the staff is also nice but not once did our server come and update us during our 40 min wait. Also noticed ppl that arrived after us were served first. Place is so overpriced. Only thing we will ever come back for are the bacon and cheese fries if we ever do. Very disappointed this was our first time trying it.

Shawarma was not shawarma at all , was wrapped in a tortilla not a pita bread , meat had way over condiment , cumin to be specific , was a very bad burrito not shawarma, pizza was very bad for a pizza place , was Walmart type eatable . drinks way over priced , Service was good , overall not coming back .

Perhaps this is a style of pizza that I am just unfamiliar with but anyone expecting a typical pizza should steer clear of this place. I ordered a pepperoni pizza to satisfy a late night craving, so my standards were already rather low but it was surprising how disatisfied I was with the product.

I personally found the pizza sauce to be rather sour and salty, and the cheese was rubbery and did not sit well with my palate. The dough and crust were crispy and tasty enough when warm but declined in quality rapidly after cooling, although this is true of many pizzas so I would not hold it against them. But most egregious were the toppings. Perhaps I have been spoiled with Costco and other pizzarias around town, but the pitiful amount of pepperonis would leave anyone disappointed.

Anyone who wants an average pizza experience, just order from your nearest pizza chain or Costco. I'm sorry to say that this place is not for anyone looking for a normal pizza.

Venezuelan style Italian food. Unexpected but delicious. Got the Maracucha burger that was stacked and messy (complimentary). The spaghetti bolognese was a huge serving and it hit the spot. We were dining in and it took about 15 min to get the food, so plan ahead. Will go back to try the pizza, for sure. Only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it was just two of us eating at the end there.

Since I visited Al Dente at their previous location, I’ve always liked it. I always go there for their pasta. It reminds me of my mom. This last time I went there for their pizza. Their pizza is the best! I love the whole menu! Also, I enjoy the restaurant decoration, its vibe and view. Al Dente’s owners, manager and staff are all very customer service oriented, nice and kind. They make you feel at home. Love this place. I highly recommend it!!!!

The Food Is Great, The Prices Are Reasonable And They Tape The Boxes Securely Closed When You Order Through A Third-Party Delivery Service To Prevent Tampering Etc.
