The food is good. A little on the sweet side, but still good. Got 6 banh mi, a shrimp spring rolls, and a vegetarian pho.The service however is terrible. I ordered takeout over the phone. When going into the restaurant, the guy at the counter needed me to repeat my order because he didn't write it down. I also asked for an itemized receipt (just listing what I paid for each item), to which he seemed upset about when I asked. Something was off about him (which a few other reviews mention). He spent a good 5 minutes hand copying the menu prices on a scrap of paper. He seemed surprised when he turned around and I was still there waiting for a receipt. Was probably hoping I would leaveThe Banh Mi are supposed to be buy 5 get 1 free, but it looks like they charged for all 6 I ordered.Again, decent food, but they can't even give a receipt or charge correctly.*They mentioned an additional 4% charge for cards, but the numbers still weren't adding up. Only a few dollars difference, but I like to know what I'm paying for.Plenty of good Vietnamese spots around here. I won't be going back again.

This is my go to banh mi spot! The bbq pork sandwich is to die for. The meat is perfectly marinated, the vegetables are fresh, and the bread is crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to try their first banh mi or just looking for a new spot. Will definitely be visiting regularly.

Stumbled across this place on our way back from Orange Coffee Bar - also an amazing spot and had to stop because of all the reviews. The people have spoken. The quality of the bahn mi’s were exactly like fantastic. The french bread crunchy, good quality meat and well seasoned, not fatty, and full of home made pickled veggies. All super fresh! And great service. My only complaint is that I didn’t have another stomach for the but 5 get one free deal. Also the pho was flavorful and delicious! Worth stopping in.

Came here to grab a quick bite while waiting for a bus after work. Really neat simple Vietnamese restaurant serving all the well known traditional Vietnamese soup dishes, appetizer, sandwiches, rice dishes, smoothies, and dessert. Really awesome staff. Great food.

I marked this place 5 stars on everything because they care about what they feed you. It’s not fast food so understand you’re not getting the food right away. They make it special for you as you order it. The Bhan Mi costs $5.50 so by having a tight staff the prices are super low.We drive over an hour every couple of weeks just to eat here. We love it that much.

I've eaten a lot of Vietnamese food and I can say that this is hands down the best pho I've ever had. The meats and vegetables were pretty much on par for most places but the broth was absolutely delicious. Also bahn mi that size at five dollars are an absolute steal.I literally can't wait to go back.

This is a no frills, OG, Vietnamese restaurant. If you're expecting to see a cute, modern, clean place, prepare to be surprised. This is old school with an auntie yelling at you and a dingy, depressing looking location. But as you know, these are the types of places that serve the best food. Also, they are affordable. Sure, the inflation of 2021 hit everyone and everything. But I still consider Banh Mi Cafe to be a good bang for your buck. The Banh Mi here is great. It's one of the better places to get it in Gwinett. And they load it up with goodies from cilantro, daikon, cucumber, jalapeno, and your protein(s). The pho is great. The broth is savory and fragrant. It's a good pho. What more can you say? The Banh Xeo is also another favorite of mine. It is also filled with goodies, and the crepe is deliciously crispy.

Fantastic!! We were so pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back. Everything we ate was delicious and well prepared. We couldn't stop thinking that it was just a little bit of home for us. ( we desperately miss good pho from San Diego, but this could definitely compete with San Diego Pho) Yummy Boba Thai Teas to drink; they even make sure to include all the extras you can put into your pho bowls. ** FYI, the small bowls are huge so don't get a bigger one unless your really hungry or want leftovers to take home Prices were great and very reasonable for the quality of food. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions, but really anything their chef makes is good. ** our only suggestion is to brighten up the inside a bit, the lighting was very little even for the day time and we were a little uncomfortable/ unsure if they were even open
