Great spot to meetup, get some work done while enjoying a coffee or tea. Love the atmosphere. They offer pastries but did not try this time. Just a cool spot ? ?

Phenomenal service and ambiance. The mugwort latte tasted great & was decently priced. The jazz music played in the background combined with the antique aesthetic of the place created an amazing vibe — one especially conducive for studying and getting stuff done. If I didn’t live so far I would come here at least once a week!

Wow. It is a rare place to have nice coffee, listening music. It is like cafe inside library. It is quiet, cozy, warm atmosphere. They offer many good selections of food and refreshments.

This is one of my favorite cafes. The atmosphere of the cafe is more fantastic than any other cafe in Georgia, and the moment you enter the cafe, you feel like you've traveled back to the 80s. The cafe has a pretty cafe feel from the 80s, and there are many books to read. Also, the coffee is very delicious, and the staff (the lady owner) is very friendly. I've been here twice so far, and she always greets me with a friendly smile. Best of all, the cafe is open late at night, so I can come here with my friends after work and relax while drinking. I recently found out about this cafe, and I plan to visit it often in the future. If you're passing by this area, definitely visit here! You'll have the best day?

Best coffee quality in town. We enjoyed the 1980’s-like atmosphere and the peace within the place. Best service, best coffee.

Coffee not so great, atmosphere awesome, service is haphazard and hot or miss. You can see the dislike in the lady’s eyes if you are a certain race.

Very chill jazz/classical cafe with lots of seats and tables and great drinks. I had the boba affogato which had an amazing presentation. The coffee was bitter but complimented by the sweet ice cream. The boba wasn’t hard and tasted house made on the spot. The blooming garlic bites were so cheesy and delicious that I didn’t notice they were gone from the plate. It had cream cheese, cheese, and plenty of garlic.

Really cool little coffee shop. Had some great pastries and a nice lunch selection along with excellent coffee and a nice quiet cafe with a cool, living room/library motif. Lots of outlets along the walls and decent WiFi makes it an easy place to get some work done.

Food was not good, coffee ok. Had a weird chicken salad sandwich with American cheese and a frozen in the middle mediocre red velvet cake. Ambiance was great (wish they played better music - different jazz or classical is better than elevator music). Service was friendly and kind.

I stopped in for coffee to take a meeting online and get out of rain. This place is amazing! A hidden gem.

Absolute gem!! It would be enough that they have delicious specialty coffees and treats served with gracious courtesy in a wonderfully ambient setting. Round tables with some chairs and sofa seating provide multiple places to relax while enjoying your beverage and listening to soft jazz. There is also a food menu with delicious options and the garlic flower bread is to die for.But what really makes Cafe Rothem unique is the astounding collection of books and vinyl records that line the walls floor to ceiling. They play records upon request. I’ve never seen anything like it outside of an academic music library. Do yourself a favor and relax here for a while.

A really beautiful space. Warm, cozy interior reminiscent of a church sanctuary, with hundreds upon hundreds of books and vinyl records on display. A fairly quiet and inviting environment compared to a lot of modern coffee shops. We got a strawberry banana smoothie, a taro boba tea and a watteok with nuts. The smoothie was very banana forward but very fresh! Taro boba tea was really good, and the watteok was so delicious that I almost went back for a second one. I also loved that they had a large seating area and board/card games available to share. Overall, an excellent "Third Place" to spend time studying, working, or catching up with a friend over coffee and a game of cards.
