I feel like the place is going down a little, my wife ordered the Cowgirl ribeye medium rare and it came out raw, so we sent it back and when we got it it was average. Just not a great birthday dinner experience.

Fabulous meal and service!! Filet was to die for, sea bass too!! Asparagus, chopped salad and bread in a skillet were great!! Service was impeccable. Wine was expensive but worth it. Birthday cake presentation was awesome and they sent a huge hunk home with me!! Can't wait to go back!!

I travel the country on business and have hosted dinners at some of the best steakhouses in the US. I was honestly blown away by Frankie's and would easily put it in the top 5 steakhouses I have been to, right there with Halls and Mahogany's. I will definitely be back on my next trip to ATL. Thank you Janna and Josh, you two were amazing.

This is our second year we have ate at Frankie's The Steakhouse for our anniversary. We drove two hours to eat there and to stay in Duluth. The food is amazing but the cake was the most amazing thing I've ever eaten.

I have frequented the steakhouse quite a bit and I will say this dining experience was absolutely horrible. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with a party of eight and reservations at 7:45pm. Our table was not ready for another 30min, so moved to the bar and had appetizers which were thankfully comped by manager. But the evening digressed. Noticeably different was the level of service and the lack of fine dining atmosphere. I could have gone to Outback Steakhouse for the same ambience. The table was not dressed with white linens but rather plastic placemats and the dress code reduced to hoodies, sweatshirts, sports jerseys, sneakers and even brass knuckles, yes (WTF). The main waiter, gave the daily specials and took the table's order and was MIA thereafter. The exception to our service experience was our Essay of 4 years, Janna, who anticipated and delivered on every point. She recognized us as frequent Frankie's patrons and was so appreciative of our return patronage delivering exceptional service to make up for the head waiter. I was able to speak to the manager and he listened, agreeing with my concerns. However, I felt placated and after serious thought I paid for a service that didn't deliver. I am sure AMEX will refund my money (They have exceptional service!). Unfortunately, Frankie's Steakhouse will not be first choice anymore and gets a meh recommendation.
Ben and Donald took excellent care of us. It was a perfect culmination for my wife's milestone birthday. The food was cooked to perfection. Loved the cowgirl ribeye and lobster bites.

Typical Steakhouse Experience Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails tasty and served promptly. Food was touch and go. King Crab legs pass their prime, frito misto cold, Meats under seasoned, lobster mac disappointing. Couple of the steaks way undercooked. Didn't find out one of our sides was out till food served. One would think at $150+ per person it would be close to perfect?

Our meal was great! Everything's about it was perfect. The steaks were just amazing. But honestly even better was the service. Three individuals served us and all three were excellent! The service here is above expectations and truly exceptional! This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. We can't wait to share this gem with family.

I was looking for a new steakhouse to celebrate an anniversary dinner and was referred to Frankie's. I appreciate their ability to be flexible because I booked the reservation for the wrong day and when realized this, I was able to call and get one that night. We were greeted upon arrival and informed of a very short wait for our table. After about 3 minutes or so we were seated. Our server Lucas came by provided us with a warm greeting and informed us that Scott would be helping as well. We were served warm bread with Sea Salt while waiting to put our order in. It was delightful. It was made fresh, inside of a miniature cast iron paired with a very light butter. I ordered the Wedge salad without bacon. It came pretty quickly and again the iceberg lettuce was fresh and the blue cheese crumbles were my favorite. For our entree, we ordered the Delmonico steak and the NY strip steak, and we paired it with Mashed Potatoes and Lobster mac and cheese. The Delmonico was cooked perfectly, lightly seasoned, and fresh. I appreciate their ability to get the steak temperature correct because that makes a heap of difference. The Garlic Mashed potatoes were divine. Seasoned well and fulfilling. The Lobster in the Mac was very fresh and the pasta was seasoned well. Since we were celebrating an Anniversary, they provided us with a HUGE slice of cake and muffins to take home. I appreciate Scotts and Lucas's keen attention to detail and outstanding service. Scott plated our meals to go and even provided a reusable bag, which I don't see very often. I will share that my only takeaway is the price difference between the menu and my bill. I noticed that my salad and Steak were slightly higher than what was provided on the menu. I share this as a takeaway because that could impact another party and budget. I will surely dine here again.

Our reservation was at 6:30 but we weren't seated until 7. We ordered drinks and meals then about 5 minutes later, the waiter came back to tell us they were out of Sea Bass, 2 people ordered that. A few minutes later, he came back and said they DID have the Sea Bass. We got our salads and waited over 40 minutes for the server to come out to tell us the kitchen was behind and it would be another 10-11 minutes for our food. We asked for the manager and it took him a while to get to us. He asked what he should do about it and we questioned what does he do in this situation, he said we would figure it out in the end...wait, what? Then he offered a round of drinks for the table. We ate birthday cake and were offered additional deserts, three of the 4 couples ordered creme bruele and cheesecake. Those were offered at no charge. While the food was good, the lobster bisque was too brown and only had 2 little bits of lobster, and we believe some of the plates were under the warming light a little too long because the plates were really hot! This was probably our 5th or 6th time dining at Frankie's and probably our last. We were there for 3 HOURS...on a week night, that was just too exhausting.

Early dinner reservation that started off rushed. Sat down and were asked for app orders immediately, we had brought drinks from bar. One of our appetizers was delivered incorrectly so my wife waited on eating her shrimp cocktail while my hot appetizer was being prepared. Bread was not delivered until initial appetizer was brought out. Steaks were excellent as always along with the cream corn soufflé; both our baked potatoes came out lukewarm, my wife mentioned and hers was credited on our bill. The Birthday cake for my wife was much appreciated. We have had better overall experiences dining here, still rate the meal very good overall.
