this was my first time ever coming here, and I'm glad I did because the food + service was great. I had the breaded wings with sweet and sour sauce, it was perfect. will definitely be coming back

Don Chicken, Korean fried chicken differs vastly from American-style fried chicken. You get an eggshell-thin, ultra-crisp crust around a drippingly juicy interior. Best korean chicken in town.

So, I have really sensitive taste. Like literally. But this place is amazing!Their chicken is super crispy, but the batter isn't as thick, so it's perfect :)The green onion chicken was amazing! The sauce was nice, and the green onions make it way better. The old style chicken was super crispy, and it was a little bit salty, so there's no need to dip it in the salt they give you. The soy sauce chicken was perfectly flavored, so it wasn't too salty nor sweet. The garlic chips on top of this chicken also add a great plus :)There are three pictures here, but we also ate mussel soup. The mussel soup had a very clean taste, so it was pretty refreshing. But, I really recommend going if you like chicken, and different styles of chicken.I had a great time with my family, and I'm pretty sure you guys will too!We will definitely be going back :)

Some people who left early reviews did not understand what a “Soft Opening” entails (you are pretty much the Beta Testers

The place is basically Korean chicken and beer. It was meh. When we first walked in the staff were at the bar having a good ol time, and don’t get me wrong that doesn’t bother me at all. It was just weird they all turned around and went quiet. It made me think for a second are they open? Did I walk in at a bad time? No one greeted us. I just awkwardly said two please? And one of the lady said ok one moment. Someone told us to sit down and it took some time to see the waitress. When she came around she looked like she didn’t want to be there. The menu is geared toward beer type of food. I wasn’t offered a beer menu so I have no idea what they serve. We did have intention of drinking a beer to enjoy with the chicken but the whole interaction left us forgetting. The menus are not in sync. One says one thing another says another. We ordered a whole chicken that is half sweet and sour and half roasted garlic. The portions are small. I could see this serving size being just casual light eating while chilling and drinking beer. Don’t expect this as a full Korean chicken place. Not many sides.Overall the taste of the chicken was decent. Sweet and sour has a tang of vinegar which was different. Crispy and hot. The roasted garlic was supposed to be spicy but no spice. The taste reminded me of Vietnamese caramelized meat (kho). It was good. Customer service leaves a little more to be desired. At the end our waitress did show up a bit more.Would I come back? Probably not.

I came here with my boyfriend today. We were seated quickly, although the environment wasn't very welcoming. The waitress was really sweet! She explained several things on the menu were unavailable because it was opening day. They didn't have drink menus nor did the waitress or waiter know how much the drinks were. They did finally bring us this device they use to place the order that had drink prices but we ended up not drinking.Usually the server is supposed to bring radish and onion soon after being seated and ordering. There was a party seated next to us that got their radish and onion right after sitting. We got ours after them, by then we had been waiting 45minutes!We were super hungry at this point. My boyfriend is korean and he asked why is it the people beside us got service asap but we've been waiting for almost an hour?Keep in mind the entire time we are waiting for our food the staff is constantly bringing food by us even though there was almost no one there when we came in.The waiter apologized again and said they could give us something for free. We chose cheese egg rolls. Finally our chicken came, it looked really good! We ordered spicy garlic chicken, but it really didnt have much garlic flavor and it was not spicy AT ALL. It was kind of sweet. Honestly, if the chicken was really good I probably would consider ignoring the bad service and come back someday. But it isn't worth it.They also gave us shrimp cutlet for no charge (I think because the cheese egg rolls were taking so long). It was okay, nothing special but the little salad that came with it was good. We didn't have any interest in staying there to eat anymore so we asked for boxs and ended up waiting another 20-30min for the egg rolls they were giving us to make up for the poor service. When we got home and opened it up I had no words, it didnt look anything like the picture on the menu. I wish I had opened it there because I would have just left it. There is no way I would pay 14$ for that. Also, I didn't take pictures of the other food because I was over it at that point.Overall it was a bad experience. I have waited MONTHS for this place to open, I drove by everytime I went to kroger because I was excited to eat there. I will not be going back again. 10/10 don't recommend.

Taste is ok, just typical Korean chicken. But the portion.....SMH. either use smaller box or cook bigger chicken man,,,, not happy, going back to choong man or bbq
