Have you walked into the wrong restaurant but stayed anyways because of the ambiance of the place? That's what I did. I was supposed to meet my nephew at the Chili Spot but accidentally walked in through the wrong door. I rarely walk into the wrong restaurant but glad I did because this place is so hip and modern.

Speaking of atmosphere, the spacious ness of the place, the modern decor and vibe makes dining in a relaxing experience.

The food was delicious. Here's what we had:

SOON DUBU + PORK BBQ 순두부 + 목살구이
Choice of your soft tofu stew with stir-fry pork in soy-based sauce

SOON DUBU + LA KALBI 순두부 + LA갈비
Choice of your soft tofu stew with marinated short ribs.

We loved the combo along with the banchan (반찬).

The service was stellar. Our waitress, Jane was attentive, professional and patient. She answered all of our questions and made great suggestions.

Go check them out if you are looking for delicious food and excellent service.

We went to Dubu several times and no doubt this place offer good quality meal with reasonable price.

We love the black sesame tofu dish and the tofu mushroom soup as the vegan options. All the dishes were good. We went there during lunch time on one of a Saturday and the place was pack but the waiting list was offered and only wait for around 20 mins to get us a table which is nit bad considered the long waiting kist they had for that day. All the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Sometimes, if you sit all the way in the back of the restaurant after lunch, you can smell the strong fish scent which is understandable for the place with lot of dishes with fish. Other than that, everything is good and we will probably come back here many more tome when we are in town.

I wanted to have the side dishes for to go (I couldn’t finish them) but they wouldn’t offer it? I thought that was very weird. I ordered the seafood soon dubu and honestly I had better ones in New York City. Probably would not come again

wow that was delicious - the oyster rice with the spicy tofu soup; the spicy pork with tofu was also spot-on; the homemade tofu is next-level

This place is well known for its tofu dishes, but the chilled soybean noodles were just as delicious 😋. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients, which made all the flavors taste fresh and clean. Highly recommend this place! 👍

This place will become popular. Very authentic Korean flavors, kind staff, and wonderful ambiance.

The combos (combinations) are delicious and a lot of food. We tried the Kalbi combination and the Grilled Mackerel combination; both delicious and I’d highly recommend. My favorite was the appetizer we ordered: the Seafood Scallion Jeon. The Dobu stews that came with the combinations were incredible too. I tried the seafood one.

Overall, I’d highly recommend!

I've been here multiple times and its great every time. The food is delicious but the only complaint I have is that the food takes a long time to come out, whether its busy or not. So just be prepared for that.

Otherwise my favorite are the Eel and the Oyster Seaweed Soup

Classy interior with a high ceiling, and a whole different level of soon tofu soup, great service. This is a classy take on soon tofu, including the sides and rice with mushrooms and veggies in it. My 4 year old son loved the mackerel fish and of course, galbi. Oh, gotta get the dessert. The ho-dduk with cinnamon and topped with vanilla ice cream. As soon as it came out, it looked so good, the three of us dived in with spoons and forks in hand...really good.

It's a good place except for the expensive food and small portions.

This place is very spacious, aesthetically pleasant, and the food leans on the very generous portion side even more so than the other soondubu spots. The mackerel, mushroom tofu soup, and the pan-fried tofu were probably my favorite items here. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was that the fish wasn’t deboned but I have ate whole fish before so it’s fine. The banchan paired well with the food and their LA Galbi set was very tasty. I think next time me and my partner will just get one set to share 😂 But it was nice to try everything and I appreciated the barley teapot at the table ! (not only to drink but to add to the scorched rice at the end)
