Probably the best first date atmosphere I've experienced in a while. Our server Matthew was attentive but also knew when to read between the lines and give some extra time and space I told him we were on our first date. As a former high-end FnB worker myself this skill is as valuable and appreciated as any other so good on ya Matthew. We went on a Sunday, which I imagine was a slower night, and it was perfect for us getting to know one another. I gave 5 stars on the food because the portions and overall taste were adequate and not over priced for finer dining. While there were a few things I would have personally like differently about certain dishes, overall the food was great. Specifically the fried mushrooms with pickled onion and black garlic sauce was one of the best fried dishes I've ever eaten. So good I ate one one on the way home and it was still pretty on point. A true sign of deliciousness with any fried food. My Pineapple Ginger Moctail was top shelf as well, pun intended. We shared the main course which was lamb. While it was certainly adequate, certain pieces were a bit chewy, and I was hoping for little contrast in the overall dish, maybe something tart to cut the richness, but overall an adequate dish. All in all a fondly memorable evening. Hopefully we will be back if the vibes remain the same between my date and I and at the Falling Rabbit.
We ordered the four course menu. Everything was perfect, from cocktails, service, and the delicious courses!
Food and service were great. Tried several appetizers. Mushrooms were my favorite. Went with the 4 course tasting menue. My only suggestion is to offer a choice between 2 different style main course plates when getting the 4 course tasting menu. The lamb was good but it would not have been my first choice.
Our waitress Tru Love was great and restaurant as a whole was fantastic. A few more main plate options would have been nice
It was our first time dining at The Falling Rabbit. The aesthetic is fantastic. We were greeted warmly; the house manager, et al are great! Our server was very good (forgot his name). The food overall was very good; the fried mushrooms were a tad greasy but flavor good, the noodles excellent, salad good, lamb delicious and dessert yummy. There was some time in between courses so go with patience in mind, but the atmosphere is conducive to conversation and very relaxing.
We had the date night special. Every dish we had was absolutely wonderful. Limiting the menu choices as Falling Rabbit does results in superb execution of every dish.
Very limited food offering, 4 course tasting other not much (about 10 total dishes) Tasting menu, salad was good, spaghetti and lambed lacked flavor, ,apple cake was ok. Wine offers by the glass limited and sub-par quality. Very good was the Hamachi Crudo $85 for the menu was overpriced for the size and quality, Service people came every 2 min to check in, need training, a bit annoying.
An absolute gem in downtown Duluth! FR has an exciting tasting menu, an incredible staff, and wonderful ambiance. The bartenders and servers here make you feel like family. It’s a cocktail bar that has turned me into a regular. On or off menu, you can’t go wrong with the quality of drinks. Favorite entree is definitely the wagyu ribeye with shishito peppers. Cheers!

This was a very disappointing and expensive dinner that was not worth it. We had the menu with the wine pairing. The wines were terrible, we would have been better off buying a bottle. The salad was not fresh, it was mushy, sat too long. Pasta was good but it also sat too long and the sauce had concealed. My scallops were good but only cooked on one side. Our dessert was a dried out cake with some apple topping and some sort of sauce. We took it to go and had it later that night and threw it out. For a $300+ dinner it was very disappointing.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary, and just decided to randomly try Falling Rabbit. This was by far the absolute best decision we’ve made. We go out to eat all the time, but this was by far the best experience we’ve had! The four course meal was phenomenal AND customized for my husband who is vegan without taking away from the delicious flavors. We were blown away with each dish. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star for the flavors they’ve carefully crafted with a mix of so many ingredients you’d never think to put together. The textures and flavors were amazing and it made eating exciting. This is a must-try restaurant, you won’t regret it. They also take Polaroids for you, so we got pictures to take home to commemorate the special occasion. Phenomenal staff too!

We visited Falling Rabbit while in Duluth for a concert, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, and the service was exceptional. Our server, Love, was wonderful — professional, kind, and attentive. She made our evening even more special. We highly recommend Falling Rabbit to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Duluth!

First time here and NOT the experience we were hoping for on our anniversary. Our server was nice and food was ok but that is where it ended. They asked if we were headed to the show, we said yes. That gave us 1.5hrs for dinner. No problem they said. They substituted a dish because they were out . Ok that happens but it took a while to figure that out. Then it was 30+ minutes between courses, and we were now running late. We said we would take the dessert to go, 25 minutes later, no dessert and no bill . Got the bill, paid and still no dessert so we left.
