The food was good, too much rice for a bowl, we were not advised that the tip 18% would be included in the bill (we were party of 2).There are a lot Venezuelan restaurants with excellent food and good prices without hidden tips.

First the food is amazing no issues at all with food. Everything was juicy cooked well. But after that it’s very mid for our experience. Online on google it says it has rooftop seating. Which it doesn’t. 2 they charge 11.99 for small cup of sangria and it’s some cheap carbonated version from a bottle. Next I understand this is a Hispanic/latin restaurant but they did have anyone that spoke English at first and our server ignored us because she couldn’t speak with us which leads to the next part. Our server and service was maybe a 4/10. But without any warning or signs stating so we get our bill and it had automatic 18% tip. One we are a party of 4 and the service was sub-par. On top of that they tried to hide the tip and get you to pay and add more ( they don’t give a receipt they just had you a handheld device to tap your card so you can’t see your bill. It wasn’t until noticed the bill didn’t add up that they went back and told me they included the tip. So in the end great food, great atmosphere, but we had terrible service and overpriced drinks.

How is it possible for a restaurant to be 10 minutes away, and prepare my food fresh, but have the food stone cold when I pick it up on time? Toppings were tasty, but tostones were full of grease. Really disappointed in service. Won't order again.

We had a very nice lunch at Flamas. I ordered the Flamas Mix and my wife ordered the sampler. Both were excellent. The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned great. The picanha was cooked at the desired temp. All in all great experience.
Our server Daniel was amazing. What an incredible young man. He came to the table often to check on us but no excessively.
We will definitely plan a second visit soon.

Get the Flama parrilla mixta. perfect for 2 hungry grown men. Fed me and my husband and brother. The food is delicious and the margaritas were good too.
