I've been to Gom Shabu Shabu since it first open. The owner is very sweet and kind. The restaurant is very cozy and family friendly. The food is simply and tasty. I love the secret peanut sauce. I highly recommend. I do come and visit once or twice a week.

It didn't happen today, it's been a while since I last visited.I visited during lunch time and the partition table on the right was for customers.They told me to sit in the middle seat.As I sit down, too much sunlight comes in. Because of the sunlight, you could see all the dust accumulated on the table. It's so dazzling that it's uncomfortable to eat, so I asked if I could move it to a shady place next to it, but I couldn't because it seats 6 people.About 4 tables that could seat 6 people were empty, and there were still 6 tables for 4 people in the middle.It wasn't a matter of whether or not I should move, but I was offended by the servers' tone and attitude, so I decided to get up and say I'd come next time.The server with the pierced nose who was opening the pot to pour the broth into it took one look and covered the plate again as if it were breaking.How rude you behaved... I didn't want to ruin the lunch I was planning to enjoy, so I just left.I usually visit in the evening, but the thin server that was there every time was not there, and there was another server with a nose piercing.It was a weekday and it was lunch time, but groups of 6 people did not show up at 4 tables that seat 6 people at once. When I visited in the evening, I had a good meal because of the friendly server, but after this incident, I never went back.If you're the owner, shouldn't you be more considerate and kind to your guests?When I think about the server who was so angry that the plate in front of him was broken and put it back on top of the pot, and the owner who didn't change it because there were too many tables left, he was unhappy.There isn't even a single hot pot restaurant here. I don't ever want to go again.

This is my favorite shabu shabu restaurant. Very clean and foods are fresh; broth and sause are so good. Great atmosphere and service. 10/10 recommend.
Also they have a great selection of (to go) home made healthy side dishes 한정수량 판매 반찬 (which are made in small batches every day and sold in small packages)
My first son (who can be picky) loved their 밤묵 (?) (like acorn jelly but made with chestnut + almond) and finished the whole package...
If u are nearby, please go and check it out. Won't be disappointed.

I’ve passed this place many times but this is my first time coming in and trying the hotpot. It was so good!! The broth was simple but was able to compliment any of the meats and veggies. She allowed us to pick the spice level of our sauce, and it was amazing. I had to ask for more because it was so delicious. It wasn’t busy when we came in (on a Saturday afternoon) and we got a plate of assorted veggies and soybeans. We where able to eat almost right away! I will be back to eat here again.
