Good Word Brewing & Public House

We visited Duluth from Arizona because my wife's family lives out here. We wanted to check out some breweries and let me tell you, this is one brewery you have to check out! Our bartender was Matthew, not only was he super friendly and welcoming, but he made our experience here so much fun! The whole staff was awesome to my wife and my mother in law. I had a flight of IPAs and the Master Of Chaos imperial IPA was hands down all of our favorite. I hope this review convinces more people to check out Good Word, try a flight, and have a great time! 20/10 would recommend!

one of the coolest spots for great beer. the ambience and vibe is amazing. great variety of beer. been here over 7 times, def will be back. parking can be tough to find especially on weekends

Good Word Brewing & Public House is just the right site for a day or night of brewing and
cooking might. All rhyming aside, this place turned out to be the perfect spot to get together with old friends. We drank our micros and we ate our chicken buckets, steak tartare, fries, and wings. It’s a venue for all ages, mind you and we saw ladies and gents from all walks of life indulging in this Downtown Duluth delight!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner last night. Everything about our visit was great. From the host that greeted us, to the bartenders that took care of us while we waited on our table, only a few minutes btw, to our awesome server Eli. Their beer is always amazing and the cocktails last night were perfect! I always have to start with their melt in your mouth chicken livers, don’t knock em till you tried them! The 3 of decided on the bucket of fried chicken because we had never tried it before. It came out piping hot, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We agreed it one some of the best fried chicken we’ve had in a while! This place checks off all the boxes for me. Great vibe, great service and amazing food and drinks!

Fried chicken coating was thick and gooey, not crispy. The taste reminded me of the chicken from those frozen T.V dinners. My wife had garlic shrimp and a salad and enjoyed it. My brother-in- law had a burger and his wife had the coconut chicken soup and a salad and both of them liked their dishes. Service and atmosphere was very good.

Great food and atmosphere. Downtown Duluth is just a cool place

A microbrewery with a full kitchen and great outdoor seating! While visiting this area I needed a beer and a burger. This place was perfect. Great beer and an awesome burger with fries. I didn't have a server, I had three! Everyone working here did so as a team. I would give 6 stars for service! The patio was comfortable in the July summer with fans everywhere. Dog friendly atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax as I had my service animal and my friends dog. This would be a regular stop for me if I lived in the area.

Had a great time at Good Works Brewing.
Our server, Ali guided us to the best food (wings with just the right sauce) and sent us home with the banana pudding (also awesome).
Definitely coming back hope we get seated with Ali again.

Best friend chicken around! I've gone probably 10 times now and all the food I've had has been great. Beers are good, they're always adding new brews and the service rocks. Highly recommend!

Food was great. The server Ellie was very nice. She even curated a flight of beers ,based on a few questions ,for us since we weren't sure which one we'd like. The food came out in a timely manner and it was just an overall nice experience. Def check them out if you're in Duluth Ga
