I've eaten here for breakfast and the price paid at the time was very reasonable for the amount of food. Today I stopped in for lunch, Ordered a lunch special item that included 1 side and I added a drink...it cost 25.00 .. I literally ordered a square size of baked ziti, a spoon full of rice, and a bottle of juice for 25.00..never again!

Recommended dishes: Bacon Eggs Hashbrowns Biscuits and Gravy
It was a typical hash house. The eggs were between over easy and medium. I ordered the turkey sausage links, but they served me the pork sausage patties.

Hannah's Kitchen is the best deal in Atlanta. $11 for a meat entree plus 2 sides plus cornbread AND drink. The best dishes are baked chicken (best I've ever had), beef tips & rice (best I've ever had) and pork chops. The entree/side dishes list changes daily, so you won't get bored with the same food each day. We need more places like this. I eat here 3-4 times a week. They have customers who eat both breakfast AND lunch everyday of the week. Customer services is friendly and super fast. You can be in and out of there within 30 minutes full and satisfied.

Have only had lunch, and it's been great every time I go. $11 for meal and drink is hard to beat. Simple plain restaurant.

I came to this place for the very first time today and the older lady at the front counter tells me to hurry up and order. Her exact words were āHurry up!ā Loud and embarrassing. I hadnāt even looked at the menu yet and this was first time coming here. I wasnāt even at the counter for 30 seconds and there was absolutely no one behind me in line. Had 2 people already dining in so didnāt understand the rush. I was turned off even more once I saw a fly around the food that was already out. Glad I left, I mightāve gotten sick from their food. Very rude and bad customer service.

This isn't a five-star atmosphere in a fancy way- it's the perfect homage to a No-Frills diner experience if you're a person who remembers the old hole in the wall style place with fondness and you like your eggs cooked perfectly, well seasoned gravy, and a damn tasty biscuit then this is the place for you. Anytime I'm in the area when they're open, I will be there.
I'm not going to add a photo because there's nothing I could post that would make it any better than it already is.
Thanks for a fantastic meal at a great price, quick service, and a wonderful cup of just regular coffee. 100% recommend.

Oh my oh my oh my! Where do I began with this escapade. I asked what something was in the food laid out at the counter. I was told it was Salisbury steak. I thought, I havenāt had that in a long time. Mostly because no one cooks it anymore. So I said Iāll try it. I went with okra and black eyed peas to round it out.
Well, letās start with black eyed peas. They were very good. They even seemed fresh, even though Iād never aged theyāre frozen. I was impressed! The okra however was another story. They were clearly frozen. It was the chewiest okra Iāve ever ver had! And Iām not talking about older okra that is just hard to chew because of the plant material just being tough. I mean it was chewy like chewing gum. I peat okra Iāve had in years!! Then to the āsteakā. Iām not sure the hell the āsteakā is. Iām not sure if it was meat, vegetable, or even organic at all. It was mushy and just horrible!! The only thing that helped was copious amounts of gravy. Rest assured Iāll not be back.
The reason for 2 stars is because the people were friendly. Service was quick, although I came early and no one was in line. The place was clean although dated.
I noticed a sign talking about potentially raising the cost because produce prices were going up. Guess what? If you buy plates and silverware instead of giving everyone to go boxes and utensils, your prices would go down. The cost per patron would go down.
