My colleagues and I were trying to visit the original Hanshin Pocha franchise, but Google Maps directed me to this location instead. I didn’t realize it was a different place until I arrived. Since I was already there, I decided to stay and try it. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The chicken feet were extremely spicy and difficult to eat, and the flavor didn’t really stand out. The rich highball tasted good, but it wasn’t the visually appealing style I was expecting. The restaurant itself felt a bit outdated, and the restroom didn’t seem well maintained.
Also, the service from a tall male staff member was not very friendly or attentive, which made the experience less enjoyable.
Next time, I plan to visit the newly opened Hanshin Pocha franchise instead. I hope the original Hanshin Pocha offers a better experience.

Unfortunately, the service was slow, the food was disappointing, and it took a long time for our order to arrive.

Hanshin Pocha USA is one of the best pocha in Duluth. The atmosphere is lively, fun, and perfect for hanging out with friends while enjoying amazing Korean drinks and food. They have a wide selection of Korean food and every soju possible. They got private rooms for lager parties or you can sit in the main dining area. We were greatly nicely and seated quickly by the servers. Everything we tried was solid, but the bossam, kimchi pancake, and potato pancake were easily the best dishes on the menu.
The service staff is very attentive and quick. They also recently renovated the restaurant and it looks a lot prettier and viber than it was before. Will definitely be back!
Also not to get confused with the newly opened Hanshin Pocha that opened a few weeks ago that’s also nearby. But this one is the OG Hanshin Pocha USA in Gwinnett.

Hanshin Pocha is amazing. Delicious, open late, and really authentic if you want real Korean food. It’s one of the only places that can scratch the itch after having lived in Korea a few years.
If you want to eat the kind of food you’ll really gorge on in Korea and not just another dolsot bibimbap; this is the place. Portions are large, some come hungry and with friends.
Also shout out to Michael, one of the servers. He is great!

An awesome Korean restaurant that’s always worth a visit. The bossam is consistently excellent and something I make a point to get whenever I’m in Georgia. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the availability of private rooms is a nice bonus for group dining.

The food, vibes and service is here is amazing! We always leave here happy, not because of too much soju :P but because of good time.

A Korean pocha experience is what you’re looking for in Duluth and Hanshin has it in spades. The vibe is upbeat and lively (keep in mind it’s best later in the night when the dim lighting and K-pop/Korean hip-hop is on full blast) and the patrons are just there to drink, eat, and chill. It’s like a slice of late-night Korea right here in Gwinnett.
The food was spot on for a pocha. Lots of spicy stir-fried dishes, fried items, and stews all super savory and meant to be shared. They’re also perfect for pairing with soju and beer. Lots of dishes are big enough to share with a group. Drinks were good value and the traditional soju cocktails are a must.
Service is still great during peak times, especially in a bar environment where the staff is likely slammed. Employees are generally friendly and efficient and once your order comes out, it’s worth the wait.
Overall, it’s a fun spot if you’re looking for a low key, high energy, drinking and dining experience with your friends. It’s loud, so come hungry, bring a group, and plan to stay a while. It’s not for a quiet bar crawl but that’s really the whole point.
