We were not sure we wanted to stay at this restaurant that didn’t serve traditional Chinese food. After speaking with them, we selected the items for our bowls and were amazed at our meals. Great service, great food. I ordered the combo option for 2 people, but just so you know you can also pick your ingredients from the bar in the middle of the restaurant as well. The flavor was amazing and I really enjoyed it. The portion size was also great and enough for 2 people.

I was waiting for a place like this to open! It's not the hotpot that we usually think of when we picture "hotpot." The pot is cooked for you - you can either go up to the food bar to pick out the ingredients yourself and hand it to the front desk to cook or you can select one of the menu items with the ingredients pre-selected. Overall, very tasty. This is good comfort food, especially during cold weather. I don't handle spice well, so I get the bone broth, but my fiance gets the chili oil broth medium spice level. The mild version is pretty bearable for me. Service is very quick. I would recommend this place if you're looking for something warm and flavorful.

Mandatory tipping, moral kidnapping, consumers must tip at least 18%, otherwise they will not be allowed to leave. Will never come again, the waiter's attitude was very bad. They force consumers to pay 18% tip, otherwise they will not let you go. The attitude of waiter is terrible. Never come again. Welcome if you want to be forced to pay.

This was unique. I think I went the second week they were open in August. This was a very cool Chinese experience where the Mala Spice was for sure the spiciest I have tried! At one point even the water I was drinking was like stinging. It was a very unique sensation. We obtained an assortment of cold water bucket skewers to dip in our hot pot, so that was kind of a unique experience. We had arrived late on a weekday and they stayed open late and were very polite. I will be back!

Good authentic taste! Love the food there though expensive! One thing to remind, be careful on setting the bill. I should have a discount told by the staff when ordering but when setting the bill, another staff came with no discount, which I didn't notice.
