HQ Korean BBQ & Hot Pot Duluth

I've been to every kbbq restaurant around, and many in other states; and I know all the best places.

At least that's what I thought until I discovered HQ kbbq.

Super nice concept compared to other kbbq restaurants, here's how it works:
-Walk in or make a reservation, seated to your table (you'll notice the place is pretty nice and feels bigger and nicer on the inside vs the outside/streetview)

-Friendly waiter will explain how kbbq/hotpot works and then ask if you'd like to order any included appetizers that will be brought to your table (these are not found at the buffet bars so your waiter has to bring them)

-Go to the buffet bars and get your meat and other items for the actual grill and hotpot. Usually you have the appetizers at this bar and you order the meat and etc but I really like this change as it means less waiting for your food!

The kbbq beef/pork options seemed a little small (a lot of seafood options though) in variety but everything else was perfect, will definitely be back.

If this place was open as late as Morning House and had the same spicy brisket as All That, it would be pretty hard to beat as the overall #1 all you can eat kbbq restaurant in town.

I would highly recommend the hot pot because they have plenty of seafoods to choose, but not the bbq because the meat was too sweet.

The price for combo bbq & hotpot is heaven.

Absolutely love the changes to the meat selections. They have a lot of meat and seafood options to satisfy every taste bud.
The price for lunch is worth a revisit, tomorrow.

This was my first time and everything was really fresh and tasty . Yna gave me recommendations that were all good for my first time doing Korean bbq and I will ask for her every visit. I tried BBQ and hot pot and loved both.

I did not get a chance to eat so my review is not about the food. I have had korean bbq all across the globe and they are all different but this is the only place that did not explain anything. The menu was tossed in front of us then the server just looked at us. No directions or even asking if we had been here before. A little direction would be helpful as korean bbq and hot pot work differently in some places.

Many unique seafood selections (oyster, blue crab, snow crab legs) and typically meat options like other Ayce places. They recently added more veggie selections like my favorite for hotpot is watercrest. The service could be better... I have been here many times. The servers do not assist with bringing the ingredients and grilling which could be a chores for dinning out. Also, It would make more sense to keep all the marinated/raw meat and seafood in a closed refrigerator for freshness. On one of my visits the shrimp smell spoiled.

Vegetarian options: Mushrooms, tofu, taro root, pumpkin, small veggies selection like 4 varieties

Kid-friendliness: Ramen, shrimp, grilled brisket, egg
